“Everthing was perfect. Walking distance of just about anything”

“Staff were very friendly and rooms/bathrooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Location was convenient to the airport. Not a big deal, but trading out dirty towels for clean towels was a little inconvenient, especially if I didn’t remember to do it before leaving for the day and getting back late. ”

“Glacier Bay Lodge is several miles outside of the small town of Gustavus, but the destination of choice for travelers to the area, providing an optimal staging place for trips out to the glacier. We hiked the coast on the forest trails running north and south from the lodge. Both trails are extremely well maintained and gorgeous the whole way through. The staff was more than happy to ensure we knew all of the risks in the area and allow us to borrow bear spray just in case things went sideways....

“Very clean, very well stocked with towels, bathroom needs and all kitchen utensils, very nice view and the beds were great. Will stay again when in Petersburg. ”

“Gorgeous property. Lovely rooms. They don’t offer room cleaning if you stay multiple days. So knowing where to take out the garbage or walking down to get toilet paper really didn’t march the hotel. It is a beautiful clean room. So nice. But having to get my own toilet paper and walk with towels down the hall doesn’t really match the appearance of the hotel because it is so nice. ”

“Great spot, plenty of restaurants close enough to walk to. Beautiful area next to the creek, have their own private deck where you can watch the seals and salmon in the creek.”
