"The reception staff were more focused on other matters rather than their guests, even an acknowledgment would have been nice. The breakfast was good and the cleaning staff very happy and welcoming. Rooms were noisy during the night plus hard beds didn’t create a great sleeping experience. It’s close to lovely park and the house where Prince Philip was born - now a museum."

It is clear that the hotel has also seen recent improvements to a new bathroom and very modern air conditioning, the public lounge's area had a very homely feel for it too. "We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel for our first visit to Corfu. Recently renovated to a high standard with tasteful decor and high tech rooms, it is perfectly located to explore the old town, old fort and just minutes from the sea. Our room was the top terrace with breathtaking views. The staff are all excellent, genuinely friendly and interested to make our stay memorable. We shall certainly return."

"The hotel was as we expected from reading past reviews, old and quirky but clean , everything in the bedroom was perfectly clean, bedding was fresh and white and changed more often than needed to be including towels. Breakfast was great, everything you could want and everything was replenished as soon as it ran out.Staff were all helpful and a very convenient location to stay in, just a short walk to everything you need and plentiful restaurants nearby."
