Chesapeake Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay, good location to restaurants and activities. Nice pool with tiki bar that mix a good drink. Full breakfast with made to order eggs and omelets which was a nice change from the normal continental breakfast. Stayed by the pool because Beach was full of sargassum but they work hard to clean it. Not much swimming room in the ocean…again a lot of seaweed."

"We had an amazing stay at Amara Cay Resort! The property was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, with an incredible waterfront setting and a true tropical Keys atmosphere. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire stay. The pool and outdoor areas were perfect for relaxing, and the location made it easy to enjoy everything Islamorada has to offer. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend Amara Cay to anyone visiting the Florida Keys. We’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"The room was spacious and clean. We were very happy with it. They only provide maid service every 3 days, and that was simply changing sheets and towels. The only issue is the smell from the beach due to dead sea grass and other stink. It made the beach impossible to use, and often was unpleasant anytime you went outside. If you plan to use the private beach, this hotel is not for you."

"Great spot for a vacation quiet clean spacious on the go breakfast. Also the ability to rent the boat while you’re there is also awesome. I would definitely reserve one beforehand. Other than that will be back again. I highly recommend this place."
