It is kind of hard to review my stay at this hotel . First of all, the staff was very professional, pleasant, and always eager to help out. I do understand it is a beautiful historical hotel and I am not sure what limitations are there to make improvements. The mold in the bathroom was a concern and the fixtures for the vanity, bathtub, and the bidet definitely need improvements. But main problem was the air condition in the room for several days and at the end for my last two days they moved me to the Grand Pera hotel next door which is also owned by the same establishment when I requested the move. Even though it is not the hotel’s fault, the big construction noise going on across from the hotel was not expected as well. And, the bridal photo shoots all day along. These photo events take place at the lobby of the hotel spreading to the entire entrance are making it a huge inconvenience for the paying quests of the hotel. There has to be a better way to implement these events without inconveniencing the hotel guests.

Very nice hotel , you can stay confortable , and location is the best of all. Take 35 minutos from İstanbul AirPort and around 40 us$ all depend the tráfic, you can go from hotel to Sofia church in 15 minutos around 8 dólares , and the blue mezquita and the bazar oll are around ❤️🙏

This is an old building full of character, downstairs is a mini museum of vintage items including, sewing machine, vintage motor bikes and weighing scales used in grocers back in the day, to mention a few. The rooms are furnished with vintage furniture and decor that people born in the last century will remember. For the new generation it will be pleasant surprise. the rooms are very clean and the hotel itself is very well located to allow easy access to all the attractions Istanbul has to offer. the hotel is also popular for weddings, there were quite a few weddings taking place during my stay and there is excellent backdrops for memorable photos. The Grand Bazaar is twenty minute taxi ride and the Bosphorus Harbor area about a ten minute taxi ride. Behind the hotel a is the Main High Street, there is a huge selection of excellent restaurants and various cuisines on offer. The hotel itself has a rooftop dining area that should not be missed. In conclusion I would highly recommend this hotel for it's service, location and ease of access to all you would want to visit.

This must have been a grand hotel in the past. Those days are over. While the furniture and decorations are stylish, the facilities have not been mantained for a long time, just enough to be minimally functional. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. The location is great but if you book a front facing room expect a lot of noise from the stree.

Odaya ilk girdiğimizde bizi çalışmayan lamba düğmeleri karşıladı. Çalışanlar yardımcı olup düzelttiler. Ama yataklarda ve yerlerde saçlar vardı. Temiz değildi. Gece banyoda kocaman bir hamam böceği vardı (ilaçladıkları için sabaha ölü duruyordu). Otel tarihi olduğu için tüm düğün fotoğrafçılarına kiralamışlar. Merdivenler gelinlerle damatlarla dolu yürünemiyor. Asansörü boş bulmak neredeyse imkansız ya gelinlikli birileri ya da fotoğrafçılar tarafından kullanılıyor. İki gece için tutmuştuk ama ikinci geceyi yakında başka bir otelde geçirdik.

Çalışanlar çok güleryüzlüydü , bina tarihi geçmişi ve konum olarak mükemmel ama tadilat ve yenilenme şart.. Banyo çok eskiydi ve duşakabin minnacık, kullanılan battaniyeler çok eskiydi.. Çarşaflar temiz olsa bile o köhnelikte pek gözükmüyordu..Böylesi tarihi bir binanın biraz daha yenilenmiş haliyle İstanbula tekrar kazandırılması mükemmel olur..
