This hotel is an ideal value-for-money spot to stay for a few days either upon arrival or before departure – whether you want to hit the fish market and beachfront seafood restaurants, explore the sights in this part of the island, or simply soak up everyday Jimbaran life. Pros: Despite its age, the hotel is well-maintained. Rooms and fixtures are in decent condition. The grounds are lush and green – the gardeners clearly take pride in their work. The pool is clean. The stretch of beach in front of the hotel is swept clean every morning, and the absence of underwater rocks makes swimming in the sea comfortable. Sunbeds and towels were always available throughout our stay. Cons: It's a small hotel – if you're after sprawling grounds, entertainment, or animation, this isn't the place. Breakfast is filling but repetitive – the same spread day after day. Also, occasionally you can smell smoke from rubbish burning somewhere in the area drifting over to the hotel. It didn't bother us, but it's more of a local issue than a hotel problem. Bottom line: We really liked it and would happily stay here again.

What a beautiful hotel! With its traditional Balinese architecture, we felt transported. The property sits on the beach and offers an enormous swimming pool. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The service was excellent, and the proximity to the airport makes it an easy first or last stop on any trip to Bali.

We love everything about this peaceful resort. The traditional architecture is gorgeous, the room is spacious, the garden is immaculate, the staff are lovely, the pool is stunning, and the hotel is right on the beach which is safe for swimming. It is great value for money . It is a little dated and tired, but for us that is part of the charm. The nearby resorts may be more modern with up-to-date facilities, but Keraton feels like the real Bali.

Great beach location.

The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The gardens were well maintained. The location is excellent with direct access to the beach. The resort is old and needs major updating. Breakfast was average and the restaurant had a very minimal menu. We ate there twice out of necessity and both times food took forever and came out cold. There seemed to be a small amount of guests staying there so there was no vibe around the resort.

Although the property is a tad dated but with amazing history character amd beautiful gardens .. .. the maintenance and cleanliness is exceptional .. they are recovering from the pandememic and doing an amazing job . The service food and rooms are beautiful .. and relaxing .. the staff are beautiful and amazingly helpful and friendly .. walking distance to facilities like ATM .. etc .. The beach is right there with hundreds of fish cafes . I cannot recommendreccomend this place highly enough .. The pool is beautiful and huge and the laughter is everywhere . The staff know our names after a week and we know thiers .. The night markets are fun and right next door .. Rosa gives the best massage and bought us special fruit treats . So safe and relaxed and they even helped us out when we got our dates wrong .. Outstanding by all accounts !!

Balinese character on a pretty beach

This place is filled with Balinese character, the decor is fantastic and there is an impressive bonsai tree collection on the perfectly manicured grounds. The pool is beautiful too. There's direct access to the beach, where it's white sands and plenty of sun loungers were available when I was there. You can see daily local life pass by which was nice. It seems like the hotel is generally past its 'hey day' and it's a little bit dated but everything was working ok and clean. The room was spacious, with an ornate front door and I had a lovely terrace. You could almost hear the waves from the terrace. Subject to availability you can stay past check out for 100k IR per hour. The only thing I didn't love about the hotel was that receptionist kept reminding me that I owed them money for a late check out even when we had agreed at check in that I would pay on check out. Excellent choice if you want to avoid a trafficked route to the airport (~10 mins on a Sat at 4pm).

Once a charming and lovely property, it is in obvious need of repair, especially restaurant and bar area. Rooms looked clean, but had a musty odor. The beach is very uninviting with litter everywhere. Staff were helpful and did their best.

Where do I start! We stayed one night that was only because we got in late! We went for a short walk to find a few supplies, well if you like the smell of rotten fish a beach full of rubbish this is NO RESORT Not to mention staff had clothes with holes in them and dirty! Breakfast wow just wow! I’m glad I’m on a weight loss journey we were just shocked! I attempted to have toast! With scrambled eggs! Wow so my breakfast was black tea!
