They asked me to move to another hotel. When I got to that hotel. No booking was made and no one could help me. Spent three hours at reception until someone was able to assist. Do not recommend.

The food is really good and cheap! I had a smoking room, yes, you heard me, you can smoke in some rooms. Everything was good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

I chose to spend my entire week in Johannesburg at this hotel, spend my money, provide good tips, and they had the nerve to steal my belongings and fabricate some absurd story when I inquired about it. Management acts like they know nothing and makes no honest effort to retrieve my items, most likely to protect his staff. This is not the way you treat valuable customers. Though, I will say that the hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating when it comes to providing room and food services, they are liars and thieves and I will not be returning or spending my money here ever again when I return to Johannesburg in the future.

Please note that you feedback has received my full attention and it will be addressed immediately. I would like to personally apologise with regards to the misunderstanding with your selfie stick. My reception team did indeed receive a selfie stick which was handed in as it was found in the public area of the hotel. A guest came to claim this selfie stick as this guest claimed to have left the selfie stick in the public area. My receptionist then gave this item to this guest as it was described to be the very same item. My assistant general manager, whom you were in contact with, was not aware that this item was handed to the receptionist and hence by the time it was brought to his attention, the selfie stick had already been claimed by another guest.
