“Majoituspaikan henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällinen ja auttavainen kaikissa asioissa. Aamiainen oli hyvä. Hotellin ympäristö on miellyttävä ja rauhallinen, hyvin hoidetut piha-alueet. Uima- altaiden kunto on hieman rapistunut, mutta hyvä oli uida. On erittäin onnistunut ratkaisu, että " aikuisten" allas on erillään ja suojainen paikka. Lapset saavat melskata rauhassa toisaalla, samoin nuoriso viikonloppuna. Ainoa puute ja toive on, että huoneiden lukkoja muutettaisiin helpommin avattaviksi....

“There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). Lighting was dim with no bedside or desk light. There were broken loose tiles around the small pool. Service was friendly but less than prompt. Although we had only one of...

“It was good. They ran out of bottled water and there are no phones in the rooms, so it’s hard to get in touch with front office.”

“The accommodation is spacious and modern. The single bedroom apartment boasts a table with chairs and plenty of room for eight people--you could have a dinner party! The apartment had a swimming pool shared with one other apartment. I didn't see that advertised so it was a pleasant surprise. There were no power failures during my 10-day stay although Lusaka tends to experience load shedding almost daily.
