"Start with negatives, Self-parking was $69 a day. Parking stalls hard to find. Too many compact stalls, with full size vehicles parking in them. No microwave in room. AC filter clogged and have not been replaced for several months. No water dispensers to refill flask. Only ice dispenser and corker on our floor. Rules not enforced, so pools are used by more non-guests than paying guests. Adult pool, jacuzzi is not available after 6pm. So much for me time and getting away from the kids. Positives: hotel let us check-in early. Convenient check out. Room felt clean. Lots of pools all over the resort. Felt safe. Enjoyed live music at night at Tapa bar. Overall, good place if you just need a room and bed to lay your head down, while spending your time elsewhere. Not a true resort in the sense. A pricey motel."

"Parking is slim, the key card do t work properly, the pool is nice, the room was very clean. The bar down stairs is nice, and the restaurant isnt open on Monday. All in all nice place for the price. Close to the skylink, walking distance to a very sketchy park and beach."

"Airport shuttle was great! Property was very very basic...not the place where you can get an extra pillow...People were shouting at 3 o'clock in the morning...Temporary permanent residency place for some less fortunate people...Still we were grateful for the stay and it met the basic requirements."

"Staff was great. Not much in terms of amenities - I get the sense this resort is best for long-term stays. We had cockroaches in our room after 2 days (we tried to be sustainable and didn't request cleaning service during our 4-day stay, so that's probably part of it). The resort itself is small and relatively secluded in a neighborhood setting, so it was a nice, quiet, change of pace from Honolulu and other really touristy areas. "

"I will break up the rating. Condo itself 8/10. Beach/grounds 8/10. Building itself 2/10. Condo was well stocked, clean, great view (5th flr), management responsive. There is snorkel equip, boggie board, beach umbrella, cooler, beach towels. The “bedroom” is a nook area with no room to go around the bed. The pictures are accurate but some wear since. Beach is good, the grounds area a little rough but not bad. There is a grass-covered area to relax in, pool is small but ok. The property: originally a hotel, converted to condo’s and semi-permanent residents. There will be construction for a long time to come but construction didn’t impact us. Roaches on property but not in condo. There are 14 parking locations on site, insufficient. 150 yards away is a grass/mud parking lot, walk along the road after parking. Parking is free. Due to poor construction quality and Kona Low with extreme rains, the elevators quit working, parking lot deep puddles. Parking security staff were helpful. The curb appearance of the building is shocking with construction materials everywhere that have sat for long periods. I would stay again "
