โHotel Cassendra was a real find. The staff were so lovely and really couldn't do enough to make my stay more pleasant. No question or request was too great or small for them. It is up a steep hill so.wpuld make quite a hike from Kandy but its maybe 300 rupees in a tuk tuk to get up. Very easy to walk down into Kandy however, and it also passes the viewpoint. When you get to the Royal park, there is a lane to the right of it and that ia a handy shortcut into town. It's honesly only a 10min walk....

โthe stay was totally great, very clean and quiet. but one thing, i couldnโt get hot shower in my room. It wasnโt cold water, but neither hot water.โ

โWe had the most wonderful stay at the Coffee Bungalow. The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly! I was shocked to see a negative review in my name which most definitely did not come from me. Beware of hacks. โ
โUnique home near Kandy railway station. Friendly owner giving practical tips and arranging transport to the station. Delicious breakfast at the terrace with beautiful view on the city and surroundings.โ
โThe hotel was nice but they couldnโt find our reservation and wanted to charge us for a rate they charge people who show up last minute. I went into my Expedia app and messaged them and then they could find it. Room was nice and clean.โ
