Reasonable hotel.

Hotel is economy, so to me that means no frills. The hotel is no frills but there are also some poor aspects which are below anything "economy". Curtains do not keep out any light. Limited plug sockets and in awkward places. Can hear every conversation in the corridor from 6am when you are trying to sleep. You can also hear other rooms toilets flush. Good points. Bed was comfortable, shower was powerful and hot, although not full height and is hand held. Room was cleaned, towels replaced. Hotel is extremely clean. Service was good. Breakfast was plentiful and met expectation Hotel is dated in style, but not run down.

Eldre Hotel. God beliggenhet nær Spodek og kort vei ril sentrum. Skuffende frokost - den var ikke verdt pengene - juiceautomat i ustand hele uken og dårlig utvalg. Måtte etterlyse håndklær etter rengjøring en dag. Skulle gjerne hatt kjøleskap på rommet, men servicen var for øvrig grei.

Es lohnt sich

Katowice hat sich enorm entwickelt und es lohnt sich nicht nur geschäftlich aber auch privat zu besuchen. Das Hotel zentral, alles ohne Auto erreichbar

Cheap, clean and central location

A genuine soviet hotel in central Katowice. The room was clean and the staff friendly. Not luxurious by any means, but cheap and good accommodation.

Hadde 4 netter der, men værelsesdama viste seg ikke i det hele tatt under mitt opphold. Jeg måtte jo ned i resepsjonen hver dag for å hente badesjampo og nye håndklær og sånn skalvdet jo ikke være. 2 dagen forlot jeg rommet mitt til frokost kl0830 slik at hun kunne få stelle rommet mitt, men neida, ingenting var gjordt. Ellers var hotellet veldig greit, god restaurant, hyggelig betjening i resepsjonen og behagelige priser. Jeg kommer til å booke der neste gang, hvis de lover å stelle rommet mitt.

Bardzo doby stosunek jakości do ceny.

Hotel Katowice znajduje się w centrum miasta, więc bez problemu można dojść zarówno do dworca kolejowego czy też autobusowego (ok. 10 min.) Hotel może być więc świetnym wyborem dla osób dla których Katowice są tylko przystankiem w podróży, jak i dla tych którzy mają jakieś inne plany związane z miastem, lub z okolicą (ze względu na bezproblemowy transport). Pokój który zajmowałem był wygodny i przyjemnie urządzony, chociaż nie czarujmy się, widać w nim ducha dawnej epoki ;-) Super była obsługa na recepcji i... ochroniarz, który nie tylko siedział na parterze przy recepcji, ale też sprawdzał wszystkie piętra budynku (a była to noc sylwestrowa z 31.12.2019 na 01.01.2020)! Tak więc jak dla mnie: super!

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter. Wir waren dort bereits das zweit Mal. Es ist sauber und das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und ausreichen. Es liegt sehr zentral. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very basic with rock hard beds

This is a very basic hotel more like an old style college dorm room. It was very inexpensive and conveniently located. Breakfast was excellent.

Perfect to relax

Good location, clean room and with all what you need to relax. The decor needs updating, looks like hotel from the 80s but not complaints. The breakfast was good, nice selection. Staff was friendly and the price good too.

Real comfy, wood parquet n lovely bath Stayed twice, both times 9th floor, though view mostly of next door Marriott :) 10 min stroll from station, 5 min from shopping centre Supersam n coach station.

大きな四角い無機質感漂う建物。社会主義国時代を今に残す雰囲気。エコノミータイプだったので、室料は安い。ベッドが狭い、バスタブの栓が緩くて湯が20センチほどしかたまらない、冷蔵庫がない、の三点がマイナスかな。
