The hotel was dirty, from the hallways to the rooms. The bed had no blanket or sheets; instead, they had been placed behind the pillows.
The bathroom sink was extremely difficult to use. To stand in front of it, you had to put one foot on an upper step and the other on a lower step. The sink was very small, and a shelf beneath the mirror covered about three-quarters of it. When I tried to wash my face, my head or hand would hit the shelf and water would spill everywhere. There wasn’t enough room to bend over properly, either.
The clothes came away from the wall when I hung clothe on it.
The so-called shower was another problem. It was a tiny, wall-less space in the bathroom, enclosed by a plastic curtain that wrapped around you. The space was cramped, and the filthy plastic curtain kept touching my body throughout the shower. The whole experience was horrible.
The bed and mattress were extremely poor quality; even roadside motels have better beds. I had booked four nights. I arrived late the first night and had no other choice. The next day, I looked for another place in town, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find one for that night, so I had to stay a second night. The following morning, I left as early as I could and sat in the clean, peaceful lobby of my new hotel.
I couldn’t take a shower during either of those two nights. I’m disappointed that Expedia lists this hotel as a four-star property. The photos on the listing are misleading and give guests the wrong impression.
