We will be back

Very nice and huge room for a very good price. Nice view over the fjord. Friendly staff but not so fluent in english. Guess it would help if i had used my rusty German. There is actually a lot to see in the area so we will be back soon. Nice pool ... the kids enjoyed. Nice breakfast.

Short vacay stay

Very nice stay at the maritim hotel Bellevue. Great accommodations and nice staff. The hotel delivers an architectural presence of being in 1990(ish), but it’s actually very cozy. The service is 2025. The only slight complaint I have, which the hotel should take note of. It didn’t ruin our stay at all, but please be aware that the mini-bar fridge is being turned of when not used to facilitate a more green approach. However, when a fridge is kept close with moisture inside, it creates mold. We found a little bit in our fridge. Again it wasn’t alarming, and nothing that would keep us from going and using the hotel again.

Beautiful, old-school grand hotel vibes. But in the best of ways. Extensive nautical theme, with great regional history. Large, well-appointed rooms. Water-side rooms on upper levels have a stunning view of the canal. Restaurant was very good. Bar/lounge has booked shows, so check in advance and buy tickets if you're interested. Very reasonable on-site parking, but there was always available street parking as well.

Nice hotel with need for update

This is a nice, but older hotel, with need for update. The kitchen of the restaurant needs some update too, the meals are only average and could be more fresh. The staff in the reseption did not read our wish in the booking and we had to pay an extra 25 E. But all in all this is a nice hotel with a stunning view and som silence if you pay extra.

The hotel rooms soon needs updating, they are getting a little tired. The swimming pool area is sad. It would be nice with a cozy atmosphere. It would also be nice if there were towels available at the changing area. We ate dinner in the restaurant. The food and the staff were absolutely fine. The breakfast buffet is really fine. It would be a good idea to refer to the parking area so that you don't get lost in the parking garage, which is reserved for the site's tenants. we had a fantastic view over the Kiel inlet from our room on the 6th floor.

Oh yes i liked it!! To say it in a few words, this hotel is Fantastic! Hi-end, top quality everywhere you look. Indoor swimming pool. Very friendly smiling and helpful staff. Nice and fast Checkinn. My room looked brand new, good sized, very clean, with floor to roof window-wall, balcony and the most beautiful view over the Kiel-fjord. A very comfortable kingsize bed and the same hi-end interior gave it a good taste of luxery. Bigscreen tv with 50 channels (German and English), Safe, Nespresso coffee machine etc... Good sized, very clean, modern bathroom with comfortable bathtub and shower. Bus stop is "Roonstrasse", 50 m. from the hotel. Info on "nah.sh" and "kvg-kiel.de". Bus run`s frequently and takes 15 min. to the central station. (hauptbahnhof) A big thank`s to the staff and the very best Regards from Norway!

Very nice hotel, a little dated

Beautifully situated hotel with view of the coast and a nice park on the back of the hotel. Rooms lovely and spacious with good atmosphere. Fabulous breakfast. A very nice hotel, but slightly drawn down by some staffs’ inability to speak fluent English and recreational facilities being somewhat simple.

Old and worn down …. I stayed at this hotel 20 years ago and seems as zero renovations or upgrades have been done since that time. Location is great but will not visit again !

It was my 4th visit to this hotel so i wanted to try the junior suite and had hoped it would give a great seaview, but was very disappointed to live at 2nd floor with a limited seaview which was worse than the seaview on 6th floor in a normal room. So to the price of aprox. 500 Euro for 2 nights its not worth the price. The room was not ready before 17 o clock the day we arrived so the hotel offered a drink for the wait. The service was ok and the breakfast is fine, but the overall state of the hotel do need a makeover soon

Wifi drops every 5 minutes, have to reconnect, either connected but no network at all or get the login website input your room number, full name… Normally you only hope the login web will come. After several tries, it says 4 devices are the limit, I can’t login anymore, but in reality I only my phone and laptop in total 2 devices. Asked the reception, she said she can do nothing about it, give me another number ask me to call it myself… great service
