““I stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didn’t find much value in the experience.””

“Nothing not too like - good sized clean rooms at an affordable price point. Excellent Breakfast and the staff very friendly and keen to help you if needed. Very central position for Pitlochry’s amenities . No hesitation in recommending”

“The property felt tired and dated. The carpets were stained, as were the curtains. Everything felt a bit grubby. The sofa bed had pillows and duvets provided in a cupboard but we had to go to reception to collect the covers and sheets to make up ourselves. On the plus side, the accommodation was very spacious, the bathrooms were clean (although no bath mats were provided) and the grounds are absolutely stunning.”

The property was beautiful, with lots of windows, gorgeous views, and potted blooming orchids in our room and the dining room. There was a refrigerator in the room and an little bottle of milk in it for our tea!”

“A beautiful, elegant country estate with a wonderful breakfast. Our room had a lovely view of the river. Waiters in the dining room were overly busy at dinner and appeared quite irritable and stressed.”
