“Pet friendly is an understatement. The staff were so accommodating and went way above to make us and our dog Blue so welcome from his welcome pack to the fuss made over him it made our visit truly special. Massive thanks to Lucie, Taylor and Ray for looking after us and the old dog. Breakfast was brilliant and the I would highly recommend the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. “The hotel had lots of amenities including multiple restaurants and two pool areas. It was in a lovely location with beautiful gardens. The staff were really helpful and adjusted my check-out time slightly later which was very kind. I also liked that there was a free shuttle to and from the ferry station from the hotel. “Very comfortable, good view of the kyles of bute. Lovely breakfast including home-made jam and bread. Most helpful husband and wife team. Nothing was too much trouble for Gabor, who not only sorted out my TV problem but very kindly drove me to the start of my ramble. Highly recommended.”

“Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi”

“Checked into our first room, toilet flush inop and a washing up bowl on the side with the toilet fixings hanging off. Reported to reception who moved us to another room with a sauna, sauna did not work, horrendous noise from the kitchen fans and no sea view which we had upgraded to. Back to reception for a second time and had to argue to get moved room again. Third room was terrible, smelt damp, curtains hanging off, paint peeling off walls and cracks in windows.
