We stayed at Geigers Canp for our honeymoon after our initial lodge closed due to flooding, and could not have been happier with our stay! The property is rustic, beautiful, and well kept and the staff are very kind and welcoming. Every aspect of our stay at the property (especially the food) was excellent. We also had the team of Josh and David as our guide/tracker for the game drives and had an amazing experience, with plenty of Big 5 sightings along with many other exciting animals that...

Such a magical experience. The staff was incredible and really was the reason this was a memorable trip. Hayden was an incredible guide. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and outgoing nature made each day more enjoyable. We saw all big 5 including seeing all 5 during one day. We were very lucky to experience a lion pride kill as well. Also, the food was incredible at all meals. Can’t recommend this place enough! Incredible value overall for what you get.

Excellent staff, wonderful room, comfortable bed, beautiful setting.

We stayed in what are called "tents" but are actually much nicer including a complete bathroom, minibar, a/c, overhead fan, etc. The staff was wonderful, nice small pool, food good. Oh, the animals -- unbelievable. We stayed 4 nights at roughly $515/night, worth every penny, and had a great time on all the drives. Didn't get bored for a second.

We stayed at Mohlabetsi for two days. Everything was top-notch, from the greeting as we arrived at the Lodge, to the farewell upon departure. The setting is wonderful, with a large green lawn under shade trees where a lovely lunch was served upon our arrival (as we gazed at the giraffe in the reserve just a few yards from the lawn). The room was clean and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. The pool was clean and refreshing after the morning safari drive. As for the safari...

Simbavati Hilltop is top notch! From the 9 times per day (yes, that is NINE times) that you are fed, to the staff, game drives, views and rooms! Not only do you have your own plunge pool overlooking the river, but there is also a shared, larger pool. There is also a daybed at the room, outdoor shower, fully stocked complimentary mini bar and very comfortable bed! We saw hippo and elephant from our room. We had a fantastic experience at Bushbaby River Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Communication with the staff was seamless, ensuring everything was perfectly arranged even before our arrival. What a beautiful experience this was. I was blown away with the hospitality and service this lodge provided. The staff are incredible and make you feel at home. They go above and beyond. Tintswalo, Erasmus, Faith, Collins and Nicco were a few to mention. The game drives were sensational . This will remain a core memory for years to come. Can’t wait to visit again.

This is a gorgeous lodge with incredible staff; delicious meals; comfortable and well designed rooms; a very small number of guests to keep the experience intimate; and a once in a lifetime safari opportunity with extremely knowledgeable guides.

We stayed at the suite and were delighted with the accommodations. The game drives were insanely interesting and the guides were top notch! Although it is a closed reserve, it is big enough to get a real sense of being in the wild, and you are almost guaranteed to see the big 5 (minus the leopard if you're not lucky, we were!) The animals almost don't notice you and behave naturally, a truly amazing experience!

Exceptional experience from start to finish. Where else can you start your day with a beautiful outdoor shower followed by a delicious breakfast in the garden including a visit by a giraffe just a few feet away? We would love to return back sometime soon.

Loved visiting Leopard's Lair - the setting is excellent on the "other" end of Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate and on the Mohlabetsi river - it really feels secluded and more "in the bush". The rooms are large and beautiful with the patio/balcony and outdoor showers. The team is excellent - our host and property manager Sonja was warm and wonderful and had so many great suggestions about Hoedspruit (all her food recommendations were perfect!).

Very attentive staff and great accommodations! There isn’t much to do after morning safari so make a plan for that.
