"We were so happy with our choice to stay at the Alpine Lodge. The location could not have been better. Barbara, the owner, was so helpful in helping us plan our trip. She handled getting our lift tickets & bus passes prior to our arrival. Breakfast was available everyday downstairs if you wanted it or there’s a fabulous bakery down the road. "If you’re looking for “fancy,” this is not it. If instead you are looking for something homey, charming, and authentically Bavarian, this is excellent. Three other details: First, it’s worth noting that this is not remote, like the pictures might make you think; it’s on the main road that passes through the town, and there is mild noise of cars with your window open. Second, the pool is a community pool about a 20 minute walk away in the same small town. It’s very nice, and I recommend it....
