Very comfy big bed, shower and taps took ages to get hot, but eventually did. Lots of tea and coffee options in room together with a fridge with wine and snacks if required. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Bit strange going in and out at back of the building, but happy to recommend as somewhere central to stay.

Great hotel

Our room was clean and spacious. The decor throughout Orchard House is beautiful and there is also a comfortable lounge area. The breakfast was delicious and offered plenty of choice. We have enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Room and staff excellent . Breakfast very good . Only drawback is hotel cannot be accessed before your book in time as is no manned reception before then . Would have helped if we could have dropped chases even if we couldn’t get into our room .

Great location in the centre of Knaresborough. Very helpful to have plenty of onsite parking. Comfortable bedroom. Very attractive and welcoming communal sitting room. Outstanding breakfast - wide variety of hot and cold dishes.

From checking in the staff were friendly and very polite. The breakfast was excellent, cooked fresh and to perfection with plenty of toast and coffee on tap. There was plenry of choice as well as a continental option. The room was excellent and the honesty bar is a great touch and not expensive for a late night treat or glass of wine.

Good Hotel in Beautiful Town

The hotel room was large and well furnished, though the bed was slightly uncomfortable and I think the mattress had seen better days. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and catered pretty well for our vegan diet, though the vegan milk options were somewhat limited. The hotel is ideally placed for access to Knaresborough town centre and had ample private parking.

Staff were amazing and very friendly and breakfast was superb. The building is very tired but in time im sure they will get it looking amazing again. Our room was very spacious but just tired looking and just need a little more dusting, overall a nice stay.

Last minute booking for weekend away. Lovely, very large, honeymoon room with 4 poster bed, mini bar etc. Staff fantastic: pleasant, cheerful, very polite & couldn't do enough for you. Hotel centrally located within easy walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants, Knaresborough castle etc. Fantastic breakfast. Free parking. Would definitely recommend & stay there again!
