"Loved the morning breakfast, friendly staff and complimentary pool across the street. The rooms were clean, with a nice balcony we left open for the lovely evening breeze. The location was also excellent! We did notice there was a intermittent sewer smell in the room and we did try plugging the sink and covering the shower drain with no success. We did tell the front staff but there was really nothing they could do."

"Room was impeccably clean, but on the small side. Free minibar items were nice to have as was the Prosecco! Free breakfast was basic but plentiful but it does get busy towards the end of service. Staff were excellent, Olga was very helpful checking us in and out even offering us drinks while we waited for the taxi to the airport. Great location in Valletta, but beware it can be loud as the local bars have loud music, which gives it a great vibe for a night out, not so great for a quiet room, music got noticeably quieter at 12.00pm on weekdays at 1.00pm at weekends."

"Valetta is fabulous and Borgo Suites is well located in a quiet street near to the centre. A handy shop and bus stop are nearby. The building itself is beautiful with high ceilings and nice windows and balconies. Sound insulation is excellent. The suite is reasonably well equipped and the bed is large and comfortable. Linen was fresh and clean and was changed every 2 days. Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work and had been supplemented by three floor standing fans and a portable airconditioner which was noisy and stood awkwardly blocking access to the balcony. Sadly some of the fixtures and fittings are damaged and need replacing, these include shelves in the bathroom, bathroom mirror, light fittings, light bulbs and coffee mug. Despite these small issues we were very happy with our stay here and would definitely return."
