This property took me and my dogs in when I had no where to go after Hurricane Helene. The staff is wonderful and friendly. I am grateful for motel 6 for helping me with a roof over my head until I was able to gain employment and find a new home. I have seen where some people have said they didn't like it because there are residents here. The people who are in similar predicament as I have been are good people who are working hard and trying hard. They are friendly and helpful. In a world of Karen's, please take into consideration the situation some have been in since Hurricane Helene. Thank you Motel 6 for helping me and others in need.

In room 207, the HOT WATER for the sink is NOT good. The faucet moves & the hot water pressure isn't enough to shave a face comfortably. I had to use a very low pressure & the water wasn't hot enough. The STAFF at check-in was pleasant and very helpful. Thank you.

I enjoyed everything about my stay, the kindness and professionalism of staff, the cleanliness, the comfortable room and amenities. I love this Motel 6 and I normally give it a 5-star rating. This stay however I could only give a 4-star rating because my room was next door to a very loud family of five who have been living in their motel room as a permanent dwelling although neither of the parents appear to have a job. I did report this to the motel manager who promised to give me a different room for future stays. This is STILL my favorite Motel 6.

We checked in during the daylight and it was obvious there were workers staying there long-term yet we felt safe; however, when the sun started to set things digressed. Full-time resident started coming out smoking cigarettes, sitting in the stairways drinking beer, playing loud music and not your working type. The smoke was so thick in our room at 2am from outside smokers I woke. the non-smoking room filled with cigarette smoke llike our wall-unit AC was sucking it in on us. The other “guests” appeared long term were disrespectful and I suspect government subsidized housing situation.. I was approached by a very scary proposition in the parking lot after hours. I could hear everything outside almost as if amplified through windows and walls. I did not sleep! Do not recommend any families or solo females stay at this property. There is a nice hotel right next to this one so the safety was deceiving in daylight.

The people were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was fine, but the shower curtain did not keep the water off the floor. The walls were thin, so I heard some noise from other occupants, but not bad. The neighborhood was not attractive, but I didn't feel unsafe.

The staff were always very helpful and considerate, and that is something I really appreciate, and I'm grateful for their hard work ethic and attitude. The location itself suffers from the drag racing and rocket engine testing they do all night on the interstate, which isn't their problem, but it still sucks. It's a roof over your head, the a/c works, the internet is fast and stable, and it's affordable. Especially for Knoxville. The down side is my room smelled weird, I couldn't mask it, I smell it on me now, it's like 10 elderly couples lived in there for 15 years or something. Didn't see any bugs, so that's a plus.

Pretty good for a motel.

For a Motel 6, our stay was pleasant. I was personally slightly disappointed on not having a tub as I'm pregnant and wanted to soak after a very long drive. The pretty granite marble stand up shower was very nice and clean though. Water was hot and the pressure was great! The towels were very tiny! I normally don't have any complaints with beds but this one felt like it needed to be removed as it had a hump in the middle. Everything was clean. The smell was a little off putting as it smelled like dirty fabulouso but that doesn't make or break the deal. I was very creeped out with the massive amount of Halloween decorations in the lobby. I think that was a little over board. We had a microwave issue one morning and they fixed it quickly while we were away. The one downside is the room were we in faced the interstate so the traffic noise was quite loud. Overall for motel, our stay was great.

First off….the ladies at the front desk were quite friendly. That is about the only positive thing I can say about this property. Very dirty. Door to the room was filthy, the bathroom door is filthy. Only 1 bath size (not really) towel. Lighting. OMG. 3 unbelievably bright fixtures in the room. Could not comfortably have them on. We just turned on the bathroom light. No table lamps. The bed. An optimistic description. Mattress was completely collapsed on the one side. The farm squeaked terribly with any movement. Looks like an attempt was made with some sort of mattress topper…..not successful. Very noisy. Is quite literally right beside the highway. Grounds. The area outside the motel was absolutely DISGUSTING with dog droppings. You quite literally had to tiptoe through. We travel with our little dogs and have never seen anything like this. People should pick up after their pets…..but in the event they don’t it it part of overall “upkeep” to address this as the property management. Never again….,pay a little more and get a good night’s sleep!!!

There were only 2 positives about my stay. The front desk staff was very nice and the bed did not hurt my back. The room was very dirty. There was what looked like a dried puddle of pet urine in the corner of the room. All of the door frames and doors were dirty. It looked like someone put an axe through the bathroom door. The towels were stiff and small. My door key worked the first time I used it and then when I returned, I had to get it reprogrammed. A roach was in my room that I saw. Police sirens all day and night. There was no do not disturb sign that I could leave on my door so that I would not be disturbed but the cleaning person called in so the room was not disturbed but if I had wanted it cleaned, it would not have happened. I mean no disrespect but this was a terrible stay and I’ll likely never visit another Motel 6, as this was my second terrible stay in a different state. It leads me to believe they are all run the same way.
