위치 멋집니다..
시하누크빌 가시는분..꼭 코롱살로엠에서 하루밤 주무시고 가세요..정말 멋진곳입니다. 스피드 보트는 선착장과 오키드와 거리가 있어서...보트택시 5달러주고 가면되구요... 너무나 환상적인 곳입니다.... 물론...벌레도 있도..개미도 있지만..... 때묻지 않은 자연과 함께 멋진 휴가를 만끽할 수 있는곳입니다..

Lage ist sehr gut, direkt am Pier und am Strand. Das Hotel eigene WIFi war leider nicht verfügbar bzw. es keine Verbindung möglich. Zimmer sind mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet und sauber.

The staff is really inadequate for this job. They constantly seem to be ignoring what is happening and why; and couldn´t care less about improving the hosts´ experience. The cleaning crew is good but there is no clear instruction on how to make them to clean the rooms.

This was our second time staying there and they had upgraded the bathrooms since last time; they were fully enclosed this time versus partial last time. We go there to relax and not have a pool and other amenities because we have the ocean. It is set back far enough so you don't interact or feel people are walking by you. The restaurant was much better this time than last. I just wished they cleaned the trash up in the back behind the rooms outside so you feel like it is inhabited. There is not a lot but it would not take a lot of time to do.

Would not recommend due to staff
Great venue, nice and handy to the wharf. What let this place down was the attitude of the guy in the red shirt (presumably the manager) His attitude was appalling, there was no internet for the three nights I was there. When I complained about this on the first day he just pointed at the sky and said it would be fixed the next day. The bar and restaurants around this establishment all had working WiFi. This went on for three days, including power cuts of which I duly complained daily. This guys attitude was appalling as he considered it funny. He was more interested in looking after the Chinese day tourists who turned up daily by boat to have lunch at the resort, as opposed to looking after his booked in guests comforts. I have been in the service industry for some 20 years now and his attitude was unacceptable. Quite frankly if I was his employer, he would have been sacked a long time ago.

Bad check in - rest was good
The hotels on the islands should provide more information on what boat service to book with in order to get dropped off as close to their facility as possible. I asked at least 3 different ferry companies before going with speed ferry cambodia which dropped me off a few docks away from the hotel. I had to walk in the sun with a 50lb luggage bag which was pretty irritating and then when I got to the check in counter no one showed up for about half an hour. After that everything else at the hotel was great. Relatively clean and comfortable, good for the price.

Quality/price, very good option
We been 6 nights there, they have the option of room with direct sea view or bungalow with sea view (some direct,some indirect). We got bungalow sea view option and is the best, very quiet and relax. Nice place for breakfast although is not super big breakfast. Pancake and ice coffe was my favorite. Quality/price very good option. Have more nice bungalow in Sarence bay, but are double price, just depend of your budget.

Efficacité du personnel car arrivée avant le check in. Petit déjeune gratuit pour les clients ( dommage que ça ne soit pas mentionné) . Chambre privative vue sur mer mais dans un bungalow commun ( aucune insonorisation) . Plage assez propre mais pas de transat dommage.

Hotellet kunne ikke finde vores booking og check-in tog derfor 1 time. De endte med at give os et andet værelse end det, som vi havde bestilt. Deres wifi virkede ikke, hvilket var super irriterende. Der var en kakkelak på vores værelse og det var super ulækkert.

needs a makeover!
resort could use a makeover, ceiling fan didn't work but they provided a very good floor fan, albeit was filthy with dust. bed was comfy and pillows good. breakfast was simple, plain omelette and white baguette with butter, had to ask for jam.

Great place, would stay again
Great relaxing stay. They picked us up at pier four which was unexpected. We thought we were going to have to walk. Beach is beautiful white powder sand. Turkish restaurant beside Orchid was great and we ate there all the time. I’d say orchid was positioned in a good area of the beach.

クオリティの低さに唖然
離島にあるバンガローなので高望みをしていた訳ではないが、周辺の同レベルの施設に比べ宿泊費が高い割には、クオリティは非常に低かった。 WiFiは故障中で使用出来ず、洗面台の排水も詰まったまま。 滞在中部屋の掃除も行われなかったので、バスタオルやアメニティの交換も無し。 蚊帳もベットサイズに合って無かったので、夜になると蚊が多く寝る事が出来ませんでした。 ビーチサイドにあるので立地は最高ですが、おすすめは出来ません。

Photos of the room online are not what it's in reality. Poor rooms, no isolation so you hear everything your neighbours do. Staff not very friendly. Luckily, the surroundings are breathtaking!

Location is all it has
This place will surely always have business since it's right in front of the main ferry terminal, and they know this, so from the moment I checked in, it was clear the staff wasn't at all focused on the customer experience. They were dismissive and not at all helpful. Rooms were very bare, just as expected. No air conditioning (there was a fan), no mirror in the bathroom, the water splashed on my feet every time I turned the faucet on in the sink, the shower wets the whole bathroom, and everything stays wet and smells. The upside: you're right on the beach the second you walk out the door. I spent virtually no time in the room since there are hammocks and swings and little bars and small restaurants all along the beach. There was also a mosquito net in the room. Use it. It's necessary.

Arrived room facilities that I was given via hotels.com furnished balcony, kettle etc room given had none of the listed facilities. Went to reception who tried to give me the room next door I said it's not the room booked wasn't deluxe room with balcony etc they tried to charge me a further $38 I paid $20 and got the room I felt I had booked. Service very poor staff disinterested, restaurant when you eventually got staff attention usually sitting down yawning food not good asked for 2 beers only had 1 !! Wifi only available in restaurant power off a lot accommodation tired and dated for the same money some better accommodation close by.

Nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt aber aufpasen was man bucht. Die Bungalows sehen super aus, aber wir buchten eine DeLuxe - Zimmer. Die 6 Zimmer sind alle in einer barackenähnlichen Unterkunft nebeneinander Holzwand-an-Holzwand angeordnet und entsprechend hellhörig. Betonfußboden ist roh. Plastikstühle zum wenigstens davorsitzen haben wir uns von woanders besorgt. Also aufpassen was man bucht - es gibt links und rechts Besseres......

Not recommended
Worst hotel I've stayed at. The tap water was dark brown and the solution to that was to give me a big jug of water to use to wash myself. The bathroom was very dirty as well. The ceiling was open to the outdoors and the neighbours so the sound carried directly to the room.

Avoid this place
Avoid this place. Rooms are of bad quality and no Internet. Water in bathroom is yellow/ brown. They know it, even have posters apologizing for it, but do nothing about it. They don't even have courtesy to put mirrors in rooms. Service in their restaurant is absolutely horrible and food tastes bad. I suspect they use this brown water to cook. I booked for two nights and left after one.

Many other better choices! Staff are rude!
The staff appeared to be very indifferent to the guests. Our check-in was not smooth and we did not feel that the staff made any real effort to address our concerns. The next morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast. We ordered our breakfast and after 1.5 hours we had only received our coffee. We asked what was the hole up several times and we were told that we would be served within 5 minutes. We gave up after 1.5 hours and said that we were leaving. To add insult to injury, the manager came running after us and asked us to pay for the coffee which wasn't fully drunk as we were waiting for the food. We went ahead and paid the funds although any hotel worth its name would not have had the audacity to ask us to pay when they had provided such bad service. The beach on that side is a bit polluted as there appears to be waste water going into the sea, lots of burning bush dumped into the sea, and a good amount of trash. It is a shame as you can see that the beach was once gorgeous. However, the locals don't appear to appreciated the beauty of the place. On the other did if the island is Lazy Beach and Sunset beach. They are beautiful and the sea is very clean.

There was a mess up with our booking, and rather than the hotel doing their best to solve the issue they just refused to do anything, telling me and my partner that we had to put up with our downgraded room. Luckily I'm the type to stand my ground, so after an hour long argument and various phone calls to HQ who kept hanging up on me, we eventually got the room that we paid for. Staff couldn't have been ruder. Their restaurant is the most expensive on the island and their food isn't even remotely nice. Their wifi only let's about 7 or 8 people on at once so you have to sit their clicking connect a thousand times until someone decides to leave the restaurant area. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are much nicer places on the island.

Resort十分靠近碼頭及saracen bay，行路到lazy beach也只需20-25分鐘，地理位置十分理想。Saracen Bay浪較平靜，非常適合游泳。 但整潔度有待改善，可能因為床具並不整潔，兩位住客全身都敏感出疹子。

Beautiful island with a nice view of the ocean
An hour away from the mainland and only accessible by boat. Bungalow right on the beach. We were never picked up at the pier upon arrival and found another boat to take us to the hotel . Very rudimentary Bungalow showing its age. Bring your own shampoo and other toiletries. Free breakfast consists of coffee or tea and one item only. No fruit or juice.

Très mauvais accueil
Très mauvais accueil lors de notre arrivée. Nous avions notre réservation et celui qui faisait office de gérant ne nous trouver pas sur sa liste, puis finalement c ok! Il demande à un employé de nous accompagner dans le bungalow, ce dernier rechigne puis y va. Nous n'avons pas la chambre que j'ai réservé et le signalons au gérant qui nous promet 1 autre chambre le lendemain, puis nous lui précisons que le petit déj est inclus et là il refuse et apres lui avoir montré le récapitulatif que Hotel.com m'avait envoyé par Mail il a accepté mais alors catastrophique café servi salé( exagére pas du tout) L'eau de la douche est salée aussi alors pas top après toute 1 journée à la plage

Horrible Overpriced Bungalow
The hotel was situated right off the main pier of Koh Sanloem. There is absolutely nothing on this island except a long, extremely shallow beach. The hotel service was poor. They chuckled and went back and forth in khmer as they figured out what bungalow to put us in. Ended up in a bungalow with 3 single beds instead of the double bed we booked. Beds were sandy. There was no top sheet as I've usually encountered in bungalow settings, only a giant fuzzy blanket for linens, not really appropriate for the heat. Took a quick nap, woke up with bugs in my bed. Saltwater shower. Floor was boards with peeling wallpaper pasted on. No wifi in bungalow. Mossie nets were ridiculous pretty, pretty princess nets, and impossible to set up without it flapping your face all night. Restaurant is overpriced, and completely shuts down at 830p. Would not recommend.

Great hotel on the beach, next to the pier
The perfect hotel in a great place... The view from the room is of turquoise water and white sand, which you can enjoy from your private balcony/terrace area. I would say the rooms are quite basic but are comfortable and have all you need! Even a small shower by the front door to wash your feet prior to entry. The restaurant has one of the most incredible views, situated in the middle of the beach, with very reasonable prices for food ($6 curry) and drink ($2 beer). Second time staying here and would 100% return! Also very clean and attentive staff! Thank you!

Stay definitely recommended!
I stayed in Orchid Resort while backpacking with a friend in Combodia. Superb beach front rooms. The guys at the Reception Counter were extremely nice. Good food at the restaurant. WiFi available only at the restaurant. Since there are mosquitoes at the beach, carrying mosquito repellent creams/sprays is advisable. Lazy beach- another awesome beach- is some 20 minutes walk from Orchid resort. Stay definitely recommended!

Der Strand macht es aus, nicht die Bungalowanlage.
Wunderschöne Paradiesische Tropeninsel ein Juvel. Leider ist der Strand stark verschmutz von den Tagestouristen, die den ganzen Abfall rumliegen lassen, das Hotelmanagement kümmert sich aber wenig darum. Grosse Teile der Insel sind im Umbau und es wird viel investiert und schnell und billig gebaut, die Unmengen von Abfall sind überall sichtbar, werden vom Wind verweht oder von den Wellen in die schöne Lagune hinausgetragen, werden sich die verschieden Hotels nicht zusammenschliessen und für das Abfallproblem eine Lösung finden, wird dieses kleine Inselidyll bald verloren sein.

Pour notre part nous avons eu de la chance car nous avons eu un bungalow récent avec vue sur la mer Gros bémol la douche pas très propre L'eau stagne car mauvaise évacuation nous avons du mettre du déodorant la nuit pour faire passer l'odeur La nuit pas d'électricité donc portable et appareil photo pas recharge Idem ils coupent le wifi Un autre couple a eu moins de chance que nous et ils ont eu une chambre vétuste ils avaient payés pour 3 nuits et au final ils ne sont restés qu'une... Conseil réservez pour une nuit et si cela vous plaît restez plus Pour ce qui est de la plage devant l'hôtel c'est juste le paradis sur terre :-) et cela vaut le détour Une nuit nous a semblé suffisant

Helt ok men ha inte för höga förhoppningar. Spartanskt men funkar. Ligger bra när man kliver av färjan. Åkte egentligen för att dyka vilket skulle finnas intill hotellet. Det fanns 2 dykshoppar men ingen var öppen eller hade tid till någon dykning. Stort minus för mitt tycke.

Lovely resort on a wonderful island
Orchid Resort is a fabulous place on the absolutely stunning Koh Rong Sanloem island. The island is undeveloped so there are only a handful of resorts to choose from and they are all right on the beach offering idyllic beach bungalows. The Orchid bungalow was well maintained and clean and provided us with everything we needed for a few nights in paradise. The Restaurant serves great food which is slightly higher priced than the mainland (for obvious reasons). Would definitely recommend Orchid Resort. Note that there is a pier right outside the resort but that not every ferry stops at the Orchid pier so you may be faced with carrying luggage over the beach from the other pier to the resort as there are no paved pathway.
