The Impiana is located right on the beach in a quiet area outside of Chewang. They provide beach/ pool towels and the breakfast buffet gets 10/10. The beach bar staff, especially Chai were fantastic. Plenty of complimentary toiletries and small bottles of water are provided. A little slice of heaven on a pretty special island.

Staff were great and the breakfast was good, the beach was quite nice also. The rooms were in need of refurbishment and the bedding was not up to scratch. Maintenance appeared to be an issue from what I saw. I would unfortunately not stay again given with conditions as they are.

Nice setting overlythe beach and Gulf of Siam. Food at the restaurant was mostly very good, though a bit overpriced for the small servings. The room was ok, needs better maintenance, especythe bathroom which was 2 out of 5. Front desk staff were great. The beach furniture was mostly half broken, dirty and uncomfortable. The rest was ok.

The location on the sea was really nice, we enjoyed the sea directly to the room. Somewhat negative was that the air conditioning was not really tight so that many mosquitoes came into the room in the evening. There was also a small water leak 2x, which was only quick fixed twice.

Great value for money at this price. 2nd floor rooftop lounge. Virtually private beach perfect for swimming. Satisfactory breakfast. Sea views from most rooms. Good happy hour. Good evening meals. We had booked four rooms for 10 people through expedia. When we arrived, the manager told us that we only had three rooms and for six people. He kept us waiting at night for 1.5 hours and asking for more money and at the end he very casually admitted his mistake. He treated us like we were thieves and ruined our night. He pretended not to have roll away beds. One of the rooms that we got smelled like dead mice and one of the showers did not work. One room had a dead roach. Cleanliness was not up to par. The hotel has a nice location in front of the beach and nice breakfast. If you can manage to get a room without smell, is a good bargain with great views. The check in process was hell. Ruined the experience for us. Not a family friendly place. There are prostitutes on the property My kids could not stand the smell amd wanted to leave immediately. We checked out the next day and they refused to refund the rest of the stay. No one in this hotel cares about the guests.

From the moment we arrived the staff took great care of us. They were kind, helpful, sweet, fun and thoughtful. The property has gorgeous trees and I can’t say enough about the quiet beach. It was truly heaven. This part of Chaweng is not for big partiers. There were couples and families. Everyone was friendly and calm. There is a pool table and beach bar for some chill time. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. I just adored our stay!

Value for money, but badly maintained !

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago, and it’s been neglected since then. The bed is like a slab of concrete, and the room is in disrepair. I couldn’t even open the front door because it kept jamming. The bathroom was a disaster—the faucet was loose and splashed water everywhere. I was really disappointed with my stay. The only saving grace was the breakfast spread, and the warm friendly staff.

Not like expected

Our room wasn’t like expected. We ordered Seawiew/Seaside. Got the bottom floor with really not much view - and really not much privacy. The room was smelly (damp smell) and really humid (the duvet and everything was all wet). We got another room the next day, after complaining - was a little bit better cause of the privacy, but no seaview. The hole hotel was a bit “tired” and really not like the pictures :)

Nice but rather old Hotel

It's a rather old hotel, accordingly are the furnishings. I liked the location (outside of Chaweng) since I was flexible with my own vehicle. I was a bit disapointed about how they care & clean the beach. There was one person which start cleaning after 11am. Nobody care about the arrangement of the sunbeds. And YES - I know, it was a stormy time when I stayed there. Nevertheless for the rather high prices they charge, I would expect more careness related to the beach even when the sea is stormy. The trash was just collected aside of the hotel which didn't really look inviting. However - I will probably stay there again but not during Nov-Dec when the sea is usually stormy and the prices are high.

Filthy and decieving

Property is outdated and unkept. Upon check in I was given a room that had not been cleaned. Then given a room that had a no working safe that was ripped from the wall. The new room was also filthy with moldy curtains. The beach in front of Property was not clean and guest where picking up debries and seaweed themselves. As compensation I was given 30% off a dinner....that was horrible also. Room pictures and decriptions are decieving. I would not recommend nor whould I stay here again.

The hotel isn’t too far from the central of Chaweng but you need a cab or other mode of transport to get there as it’s too far to walk. It’s located on a hill just around a bend on a busy main road so it makes it challenging to cross the busy road and flag a transport down to get into town. We paid extra for a sea view and were on the top floor. There are no lifts so don’t stay here if you arn’t very fit as there are different levels throughout the hotel. The beds are very hard, although the hotel did provide mattress toppers when we asked which made it slightly better. The aircon is very noisey and we requested to be moved after 1 night as all you could hear was the bikes & traffic at all hours on the main road. The hotel were accomodating and moved us the next day. We were on the ground floor which was quieter. The beach is long but either side of the hotel is wasteland with rubbish, the beach isn’t that clean. The beach beds etc need updating. They clean the rooms daily however forgot on a couple of occasions but cleaned when asked. Breakfast is ok with Thai & European choices. Overall, the hotel is old and needs updating. The staff were all lovely but the hotel needs to lift its standards. We would not stay here again.

The bar and breakfast staff were lovely and very friendly and the hotel is right on a beach. We were annoyed to find the Spa was closed as well as the Tamarind restaurant leaving very few options for food. Although the available food and drinks were ok they were very expensive in comparison to elsewhere. There are a few places to eat nearby but they involve a walk along the busy main island ring road which only has a foot path in a few small areas and is not well lit. Not very safe!! Most public areas and rooms appear to need a lot of TLC as there has clearly been no investment or upkeep for a long time. Looking very neglected in some areas. Sadly we were also subject to a scam and lost 8150 Thai Baht (£200) which in our opinion could have been avoided if the hotel had better system and email security. No apology was offered or any offer of real assistance which makes us feel that maybe some staff are involved although they denied this when we suggested that may be the case. A very disappointing stay and will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

Die schlechten Rezessionen der Vergangenheit sind nicht gerechtfertigt. Dass die Straße direkt am Hotel ist, dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Und man läuft eh nicht zu Fuß nach chaweng sondern nimmt ein Taxi. Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich, das frückstück sehr vielfältig. Wer hier was nicht findet, bei dem frage ich mich, was es bei dieser Person jeden Tag zuhause gibt. Strand sehr gut, Abendessen gut, wenn nur 1x genutzt. Zimmer sind groß genug. Einig das Bad könnte mal renoviert werden. Aber ist voll funktionsfähig. Klima recht laut, aber kühlt dafür auch ordentlich runter. Auch hier kann man es wohl niemanden recht machen. Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen

A fuir chambre vétuste en bordure de route, impossible de dormir même avec des bouchons d’oreilles. Accès et sortie de l’hôtel sur la route en plein virage, très dangereux. Impossible de sortir de l’hôtel à pied

Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr gut. Der Strand war auch sehr schön. Zahlreiche kulinarische Möglichkeiten rund um das Hotel. Essen im Hotel selbst: Frühstück etwas teuer für das Angebot, auch das Abendessen hat uns nicht wirklich überzeugt für den Preis. Das Personal sowie Service bei Bedarf sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wer nach einer sehr günstigen Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit Strandlage sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben, wer etwas mehr als nur ein Bett zum Schlafen haben möchte, sollte sich überlegen, ob das Impiana das richtige Hotel dafür ist.

plage magnifique, personnel aux petits soins, le Chef Mas nous régale, un peu loin des restaurants et du centre, il faut prendre un taxi si on veut sortir, il faudrait également faire quelques travaux, et avoir plus d'éclairage dans les chambres. Mais globalement bien
