Peaceful place!
Staffs are great! And really good place to "do nothing" near the beach. Thank you for breakfast and smile! Cha-weng is not a koh-samui really! If you want to relax and take a rest without busy street then, do not choose resort or hotel in cha-weng!

This property has the most beautiful location directly on the beach. The view in the morning is breathtaking! You will need a motorbike - the area is not super walkable beyond a couple massage places and a 7/11.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. You can ask for anything and they will do their utmost best to help you. The location is very nice, good restaurant with a beautiful beach view, lovely private beach. There is also a spa but the prices are rather high in comparison with the thousands of massage salons on the Island The room with jacuzzi was nice. Good bathroom with open air shower. The cleaning was ok, altough not exactly up to European standards since they don't use the cleaning detergents used in Europe. So you can see some stained parts on the bathroom sink, behind the toilet bowl and on the shower wall. The bedding sheets and towels were very clean and replaced when you ask for it. The Wifi in the room was just sufficient, could be a lot better. The surroundings of the resort are a bit less attractive, the road to the village is partly a dirtroad with a lot of potholes. Also its a long walk to the village and there is no shuttle from the resort to the village.

La struttura è solo leggermente isolata e questa è la sua unica pecca , ma la spiaggia è praticamente privata , ben accessoriata e con mare fantastico, ristorante con cucina di buon livello, tutti super gentili , insomma sono stata entusiasta, a questo si aggiunge una spa a prezzi convenienti e massaggi ben eseguiti. Pulizia costante e ben eseguita . Tutti super disponibili e hanno soddisfatto qualunque nostra richiesta compreso trasporto da e per aeroporto e noleggio motorino

Good hotel with very bad service!!
We had booked this hotel for a special occassion and were hoping for a good experience. Unfortunately the service was not good especially at the beachside bar and restaurant. We had an issue at the bar and wanted to talk to the manager but he/she refused to address it appropriately or meet us in person. This experience left a very bad taste in our mouth!

Loved staying right on the beach! Our room was clean, staff was attentive. Bartender was efficient. Didn’t look like there was much to walk to, but can definitely walk up and down the beach. Our tub jets did not work which wasn’t the worse thing. They do either need mosquito netting around the bed or covering the balcony, or to provide mosquito zappers (the tennis racket ones).

Great relaxing experience and amazing food!
Great experience, totally recommendecd! Staff very welcoming, room clean and very comfortable, breakfast and restaurant overall amazing and reasonable prices and good offers. Photo is a bit misleading, as you do need to go down a couple of stairs to go to the beach. I think the only thing I didn't like was the gym, some of the equipment was too old and not really practical - something to consider if you are planning on exercising a lot.

Very friendly staff and good kitchen, good location if you have your own transport. Howeveer the beach is not how it looks in the photo. It is much and you have to walk down the few steps to get on the beach. (PS not a big problem)

Traumhafter Aufenthalt an idyllischem Platz
Wir waren mehr als begeistert! Haben 7 Nächte unserer Flitterwochen hier in einer Villa mit Pool verbracht und jede Minute mehr als genossen. Ein traumhaftes Zimmer Set-up mit Honeymoon-Dekoration; äusserst zuvorkommende Menschen, die uns unglaublich verwöhnt haben (vor allem das Team im Restaurant/Bar); unbeschreiblich leckere Cocktails und hervorragendes Essen (bei ganzem Fisch vorher zeigen lassen); ein tolles Frühstücksbuffet das vor allem auch ausreichend asiatische Gerichte hat (die europäischen könnte man sparen) (1 Woche ohne Brot, Fett, Zucker tut gut!); liebevoll gepflegte Anlage; und last not least ein traumhaft am Strand gelegenes Restaurant und Pool; der Strand und die Umgebung sind sehr schön (könnte in der Hauptsaison aber sehr voll werden); Für uns war das im November wirklich absolut topp. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Ach ja. Das Zimmer mit Pool, offenem Bad lohnt sich - lediglich eine Sitzecke mit Tisch fehlt hier :-) (jammern auf hohem Niveau). Gut, dass es kaum Einweg-Fläschchen aus Plastik im Bad gibt und Produkte wie Seife, Shampoo, Conditioner, Duschgel, Body Lotion im Mehrwegspender zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Topp! Ansonsten auch eher nachhaltig umweltbewusst. Danke nochmals an das Super Team für eine unvergessliche Woche. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder.

Séjour parfait !
C'est un hôtel très agréable, il est au calme et propre. Le personnel est aux petits soins. C'était notre 2eme séjour au Mimosa. Si nous revenons à Samui, notre choix sera sans hésiter le Mimosa. La plage est parfaite, il y a de l'eau, même à marrée basse.

Perfect Location
We stayed here in January for 11 nights. We pciked a jacuzzi pool villa as we were a family of 4 adults. Our villa was extremely spacious, 2 rooms, 1 shower room and an outdoor shower room. Lounge area, garden and small private pool. It was wonderful. Although a little bit off the beaten track and in a lovely quiet area we found it absolutely perfect. The hotel is right on a stunning beach and it is very easy to jump into a taxi or bus to get to the local town in the evenings. The hotel also went out of their way to courier my daughters mobile phone to us in Bangkok which was our next stop. She had left it in the taxi on the way to the airport and the Mimosa very kindly tracked it down. Absolutely spot on service. I would highly recommend the Mimosa and would most definitely come back and stay here again.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They made sure I was enjoying my stay. There are discounts at the spa but also many massage facilities nearby. The front beach is private with very good clear water. The hotel offers free kayak and snorkel gear as well. I was looking for a quiet place to unwind and enjoy the beach without having to move much. This place was perfect for that.

Very nice small hotel at the beach
My family had a nice and relaxing stay at Mimosa. It just perfect for quiet and relaxing holiday. The beach is amazing, and there is nice view during breakfast. The rooms are big and clean, no view from the balcony thought.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for writing to us, and to assure you that we do read all the reviews we receive and consider your suggestions carefully. In your review, you state that our prices of the dishes in the restaurant are overpriced and you found another restaurant or stall 10 minutes walk from our resort for a very affordable price. We understand that you have purchased one of these less price meals and you wished for us to know how we lost your business. As we are sure you can understand, we offer our food at prices that we believe are fair. This takes into account many different factors, including our commitment to our employees and high quality of our food. We are 4-star hotel surely we use 4-star material and decorating. All tables and chairs are made from Teak wood. Fork, Spoon, Knife and any utensils are made from 5-star quality stainless steel. Glass, Plate and any which we use in the restaurant are high quality grade. Moreover, the location of our resort offers our guests a stunning view along the beach which means that you can take sea view, beach view, sunset view and a lot of beautiful scenario views when you have any meals at our resort. While it is unfortunate that our prices may be undercut by other restaurants which have less service than ours. Those restaurants nearby our resort that you mentioned are mostly street food stalls with no services and it all are typical small restaurants. Thus, we must stand by our commitment to these values due to the fact that our prices are standard and reasonable compare to other 4-star hotels on the island. However, We appreciate your review and your thoughts, and we hope to see you in the future again soon. Sincerely,

Lovely hotel and staff!
The staff are amazing! They go out of their way to welcome you and help you in any way they can. I’ve stayed here twice, the last visit was for a month! I attended a fitness camp nearby, and Mimosa is definitely one of the best, if not the best, accommodation available in the area. The restaurant and pool is right on the beach, and offers beautiful sunset views and friendly service. Highly recommend this hotel if you need or want to be in this quiet area. It’s a little far from the busier, tourist areas and markets, but if you organize transportation you can get around just fine. The hotel can help you with that too. I’ll definitely be back!

Unglaublich toller Urlaub
Es war ein toller Urlaub. Das Personal ist besonders freundlich und bemüht einem den Urlaub so gut wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Atmosphäre war besonders familiär und herzlich. Die Lage nicht zu vergessen mit dem unglaublich, tollen, feinsandigen Strand. Alle die einen richtig erholsamen tollen Urlaub verbringen wollen, sollten hierher kommen. Auf diesem Weg nochmal herzlichen Dank an alle Mitarbeiter, die meiner Mutter und mir, einen unglaublich tollen Urlaub ermöglicht haben.

We were told that this was an "older" resort. Yes, it's a bit aged. Yet the facility was wonderful, quiet, comfortable, and the staff was incredible. Sea kayak was provided upon request, as was swim fins and snorkel gear. The food was incredible. Scooters available for rental for very little money. Beach was wonderful. Definitely going back!
