Ruhiges Resort eines ansonsten quirligen Strandes

Man hat am Ende des Sairee-Beaches Ruhe, kann aber nach kurzem Gang in das quirlige Leben dieser Insel eintauchen. Restaurants, Supermärkte, Bars und Boutiquen sind gut erreichbar. Vorgelagert befindet sich ein Riff.

Schöne Bungalows mit Blick auf das Meer

Wir verbrachten 4 Nächte in dem Hotel. 2 Nächte in einem sehr günstigen Bungalow, welcher dennoch Ok war und sich für junge Leute und günstiges Reisen eignet (man ist da eh kaum im Zimmer/Bungalow). Und 2 Nächte verbrachten wir in einem weitaus besseren Bungalow in Meeresnähe. Dort hielt man sich auch mal gerne länger auf, zB auf der kleinen Terasse. Das Bett war auch sehr groß und es war so weit alle da was man benötigte.

Ikke den store oplevelse

Vi skrev for at få bekræftet reservationen på deres hjemmeside men uden held. De havde ikke en shuttle service fra kajen på Koh Tao til hotellet - et stort minus. Det ligger godt i den stille nordlige ende af Sairee Beach. Der var en hel del myg og vi blev begge stukket en hel del på værelset. Sengen lod en hel del tilbage at ønske, en hård seng kan være ok men her føltes det som at sove på en dør med en telefonbog under hovedet - et stort minus. der var en kun en almindelig blæser i nr 003 foruden AC med kun en indstilling – Orkan og den støjede en hel del. Der var tv på værelset som tog en hel del af pladsen i lokalet så det en feature der klart kunne undværes. På terrassen som ikke var særlig stor var der møbler som formentlig er lavet af den samme producent som har lavet sengen de var slet ikke til at sidde i. Udsigten fra terrassen var selv fra tredje række fin. Vi oplevede et par strømsvigt i løbet af vores ophold så en lommelygte eller en nødgenerator ville have været en fordel. Der er ingen vaskeri service på hotellet som der ellers er de fleste steder det er et minus. Rengøringen var heller ikke værd at prale af, der gik mere end en uge før de skiftede lagenet på sengen. Restauranten var efter Thai forhold ikke noget. Wifi forbindelsen var ikke den hurtigste eller den mest stabile den forsvandt helt efter det sidste strømsvigt. Til en pris på 5300kr for 14 overnatninger kan man gøre det bedre det var ikke helt tre stjerner og det efterlod en del tilbage at ønske.

Die Strandnähe ist das einzige..

Wir haben einen superior Bungalow gebucht und waren leider echt enttäuscht. Vor allem das wichtigste, das Bett, ist unglaublich unbequem. Die Matratze ist für jeden, der größer als 180cm ist, zu kurz und auch kleinere Gäste spüren jede Feder. Gerne hätten wir in einen anderen freien Bungalow oder Zimmer gewechselt, aber leider sind die Betten überall gleich. Der Wasserhahn im Bad war locker und fiel ständig aus der Verankerung, auch der Rest der Ausstattung des Zimmers und der Anlage eher in mäßigem Zustand, auch für Thailändische Verhältnisse. Essen im Restaurant teilweise deutlich teurer als etwas weiter zentral in sairee beach, Liegen am Strand kaputt, Polster zerschlissen und keine Sonnenschirme. Service war ok, wir könnten nach dem Check out die Taschen an der Rezeption lassen und auch ein vergessener Föhn war drei Tage später noch da und wir haben ihn zurückbekommen. Die Lage am Strand ist jedoch einmalig, hier hinten ist der mit abstand schönste und auch breiteste Strandabschnitt, die Kulisse der Felsen am Ende ist sehr schön. Es ist auch deutlich ruhiger, nicht so viel los wie in Sairee. Trotzdem ist man nach einem schönen 10 minütigen Spaziergang mitten im Geschehen. Wir würden die Lage auf jeden Fall wieder nehmen, vielleicht dann eher das Palm leaf Resort oder die Koh Tao Cabanas nebenan.

Dirty and beat up but great location

Really beat up and dirty hotel with a thick layer of dust covering most things inside the room. The only upside was a nice location on a quiet beach very close to the town attractions.

15 min walk to party life, cute bungalows

Very pretty location and bungalows very cute from the outside. The beach is really nice and you are right there. For the price, they should put wifi in the room and not only at the beach. Clean inside and staff is nice. It was pleasant overall but really not memorable.

A fuir, ne pas y aller

Je n'aurais jamais dû aller dans cet hotel, photos mensongères , tres sale , infesté de toutes sortes de bêtes dans la chambre et le matelas, plafond plein d'énormes toiles d'araignées . On s'est fait piqué !!! On a d'ailleurs fui cet hotel !!responsable vraiment méchante , n'en veut qu'à votre argent!!n'y aller surtout pas!!!

well - it depends.....

i'm not sure if i would recommend it. the location is awesome; the beach is wonderful (and private!! as there's not much of beach to hang around...) so the beach and the location itself would be worth staying there. it's very very nice!!!! the other thing is the rooms.... - the bed was very very uncomfortable (i once woke up and thought that i broke my shoulder - as it was simply too hard to lay on....) - there is no mosquito net in the room even if there are a lot of mosquitos.... - but the worst: there were thousand of bed bugs. one get used to it; never-the-less it's a disgusting thingi (i saw all of them either in my mosquite not that i've brought along or the other day in the bed sheets....). for that kind of standard the price is far too high.

Do not go there!

NOT recommended!! It was a bad experience: the hotel is not like the pictures, we paid a lot of money for sea view wich we didnt have, the staff is rather unfriendly... in general, I feel scammed, I's a hotel to paid $30 at the most (for the superior one, I dont want to know what the rest of the bungalows looked like)

Si tienes una beach front suite, mucho mejor!

Excelente hotel acorde a sus estrellas. Paramos en una de las beachfront suites, vista inigualable del atardecer, la playa es muy buena. Los servicios del hotel son un poco precarios pero el personal tiene una muy buena predisposicion, sin duda volveriamos!

Quiet hotel at the end of the beach

We stayed in a beachfront bungalow and it was right on the beach, comfortable and clean. We liked the northern end of Sairee Beach as you can easily walk to the restaurants and bars but it was quiet

Bei der Buchung über Expedia ist das Frühstück sowie der Bring/Abholdienst nicht inklusiv. Dies muss alles vor Ort extra bezahlt werden. Wenn man über das Resort direkt bucht , sind diese Leistungen bereits enthalten. Die Managerin ist sehr dominierend. Das Preis/Leistungsverhälnis ist zu hoch.

I bungalow sono scarni con arredamenti vecchi e la pulizia lascia a desiderare. Le lenzuola del letto erano dure e e spesse. I personale non spicca certo per la cortesia, la tipica gentilezza thai al bow thong non la troverete... Vi dico solo che appena usufruivamo del bar ci rincorrevano col conto! Unica nota positiva del servizio: appena arrivati ci hanno procurato un motorino da noleggiare e per la partenza si sono occupati della prenotazione del traghetto verso samui e del trasferimento fino al porto. Quanto alla posizione, il complesso di bungalow e' a ridosso del mare, la mattina c'è la bassa marea un po' più accentuata rispetto al resto di sairee essendo proprio collocato nell'estremità settentrionale. Il bow thong e' a 5 minuti di motorino dal centro della spiaggia di sairee, posto con la maggiore movida. Insomma vi sconsigliamo questa struttura: troverete lungo la spiaggia di sairee strutture migliori, dotate di piscina ( il bow thong e' uno dei pochi senza) a prezzi anche leggermente inferiore!

Beskidte værelser og dårligt personale

Min kæreste og jeg er vant til at rejse, men har ikke oplevet et sted som dette før. Da vi ankom, lugtede værelset som om det ikke havde været brugt i 10 år. Lagnerne var beskidte og havde huller og gamle blodpletter. Køleskabet lugtede og der var mug indeni. Badeværelset havde svamp på væggene. Dørene og vinduerne var så skæve, at der kunne komme dyr ind gennem sprækkerne. Det resulterede i at der hver aften først skulle fanges 3-5 firben (15 cm lange!) og smides udenfor, hvilket var ekstremt ulækkert. Der var mange myrer på gulvet i værelset. Personalet var uhøfligt og vi følte, at vi var en belastning frem for velkomne gæster. Det var ikke muligt at få pengene retur, men vi fandt ud af at man kunne få super lækre hytter (også ved vandet) mere centralt på øen til fuldstændig samme pris. Vi vil derfor ikke anbefale Bow Thong til nogen.

Would not recommend this hotel!

The reception staff were terrible. The check-in lady at the reception was too busy playing candy crunch and did not once look at us. We are daily both working with people and service and have been so spoilt with the wonderful Thai people, but this hotel was a true disaster. I have also worked within the tourism industry for many years, so am familiar with minimum required standards. The room was dirty and smelled bad and there was no hot water. Perhaps the bungalows were better. The cleaning staff was very friendly though,but worked under horrific conditions having the check in lady yelling at the, I front of our eyes. We went further down the beach as we didn't want to be near the hotell. They didn't even say good bye and thank you for your stay. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotell.

Für das Geld kriegt gibt's woanders viel mehr!

...für 40€ die Nacht würde uns hier sehr wenig geboten. Alte Ausstattung, schlimmer Mief und große Kakerlaken. Auf Koh Tao kriegt man wo anders viel mehr für dieses Geld. Somit lieber noch weitersuchen!;)
