Nice place!

I had a great stay at Thalassa. It’s located on the small walk street along Sairee Beach that has all the shops and restaurants. My room had a fantastic king sized bed parked on a teak wood platform with lots of pillows. There was a choice between 3 breakfasts included with the room - all looked delicious. Nice place at a good price!

Det drypper med vand fra loftet

Min tvillingesøster og jeg overnattede 4 nætter på hotellet. Første nat oplever vi at det drypper fra loftet, og der er et stort hul at se. Det lugter og er ifølge os rigtig ulækkert. Vi beder om et nyt værelse, og det skal siges at de i receptionen er rigtig rare. De følger os til en nyt værelse, men der er samme problem, hvilket de ansatte selv opdager, men forklarer os at det blot er på grund af vand og fugt i loftet, og antyder at der altså ikke sker noget ved at sove i det. De spørger om det er okay og kigger håbefuldt på os. Vi vil selvfølgelig ikke overnatte på et dryppende værelse og får heldigvis et tredje værelse, hvor alt er i fineste orden. De næste dage går godt. Men på vores sidste nat oplever vi, at vi om morgenen mens vi sover, bliver vækket af to kvinder der ivrigt banker hårdt på vores dør i omkring et minut. Da vi til sidst fornemmer at de ikke har tænkt sig at stoppe, står vi op og åbner døren. De forklarer ikke hvorfor de banker på, men står bare og kigger forvirret på os. Vi fandt aldrig ud af hvad de ville, for de kunne ikke snakke engelsk. Det skal siges at vi endda havde skrevet uden for vores dør at de ikke skal forstyrre. Dette læste vi også at andre oplevede, men tænkte ikke det ville ske for os. Men det gjorde det, og det gjorde at vores sidste dag bare startede rigtig dårligt ud. Vi kommer i hvert fald ikke igen. Der er i øvrigt ikke varmt vand. Overhovedet. Selvom de reklamerer med “hot shower”. Det var iskoldt og ikke i nærheden af varmt vand.

Location location location!

This hotel is centrally located. Perfect location to walk to the main beach, bars, restaurants and shops! The staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to prepare a surprise birthday cake for my 40th birthday. What a lovely gesture that will never be forgotten! If I can give a word of advice it would be to service the aircons as they took a long time to cool the rooms down and sometimes had dripping water. The wood inside the rooms looks dated and needs attention. Other than that there is not a problem with this well situated and prices hotel!

Koh Tao stay

They offer a free shuttle from the pier. They sent an email requesting my arrival info which I sent. It was not confirmed. When I arrived during a festival, it was not working. When I took a cab, they offered a free trip back at the end. That was the only negative of the trip. Hotel was a good value. Clean. Reasonably good breakfast though not many choices.

Great location,room over priced for what it is,we had problem with A/C, and had to move to a other room, facities in room, no kettle nor glasses for drinks etc.

I was changed the room for 3rd times, First room was very noisy due to the air condition concerned and pump all night, second room the air condition doesn’t worked and pump all night same issues so I can’t slept, was very disappointed.

Man får hva man betaller for, her var det billig å bo, standar der etter. Men det var sentralt og lett og komme seg rundt her fra. Det som trakk ned var lukt på badet, skitne håndkler og slitent og skittent sengetøy. Ikke bruk reisebyrået som du ser rett over gaten fra resepsjonen Sairee Travel gult skilt. Manen som jobber der var rett og slett ufin og skremmende mot damer. Aldrig opplevd lignende.

Veldig kort ned til stranda og alt annet. Kan være litt lyd fra gata men det var ikke hver dag og det gikk veldig fint. Veldig hyggelige ansatte og god mat nede i restauranten! Alt i alt verdt det man betaler.

Dålig air Conditioner

Fräscht hotell förövrigt men A/C:n blåser ej så kallt så det är ganska varmt i rummen fick byta rum en gång pga detta men det var inte bättre i andra. Minus att dom ej hade balkong.
