Basic but comfortable and clean accommodation in the perfect location for easy access to most areas including the Old Town, the Castle, the River cruises and only a 20 minute walk or so from the Jewish Quarter.

Charming room decor, located just steps around the corner from the main hotel Santi where you check in. Very spacious room with view of the street and can hear the horse & carriage pass by. Our flight was cancelled and had to check in a day later. Communicated thru the Expedia app to let the hotel know. They did not answer back, got a bit worried but when we arrived they acknowledged that they knew about our cancelled flight.

A great find in the heart of Kraków. Very good location with a very walkable distance to the main square and Wawel castle :) trams meters away and loads of restaurants and small cafes around. Definitely recommend if you like a busy atmosphere and lots to do nearby.

Great location close to old town center. Convenient access to transport/taxi/tour bus pick up. Plenty of food options nearby. Windows filter out most of the noise outside but some can still get thru at night. Comfortable for few night stay, would stay again.

Old Town Krakow

It was in a great position in the old town, but my room was at the top of the house, 4 flights of stairs and no liift. I am fit but getting on in years. Main reception in a hotel round the corner. Many restaurants and attractions close by. Parks with shade everywhere. Food is generally cheap

Public Service Announcement: If coming by car, use Google Maps and NOT Apple Maps. Even with the parking address provided through the Expedia messenger by the hotel, Apple Maps kept directing us through the pedestrian zones. We switched to Google Maps and it worked a solution that got us within 100 feet (30m) of hotel parking, but at the wrong end of a one-way street (Polselska). At that point (it took more than 45 minutes to cover the last mile to the hotel due to misnavigatin), after verifying there was no oncoming traffic, we forged up the street to the parking entrance which was open due to departing cars. Anyway, the Aparthotel Grodzka 21 is managed through the office of the nearby Santi Hotel, which is where one needs to go to register, pick up keys, and park. Once we parked, we found the reception and check-in went smoothly, including getting train directions to the Wieliczka Salt Mine for which we had tickets the next morning (we weren't about to repeat the old town driving experience unless we had to). The Aparthotel does not have an elevator, which was fine for us since we travel light. We enjoyed our well-appointed third-floor room for the two nights we stayed. Points of interest, restaurants, evening music, and souvenir shops are right outside the hotel or within a ten to fifteen minutes walk with the train station being a little further away. We really enjoyed our time here.

Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. However, I encountered a few issues. My room was meant to include a desk, which I relied on for work. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi only functioned for a few hours before completely cutting out. As a result, I had to purchase extra data from my provider for $40. With that amount, I could have booked a more expensive room with reliable Wi-Fi and a desk. Additionally, the hairdryer was quite frustrating. It required me to hold down a button for it to work, and once I released it, it stopped. With my long hair, drying took an eternity, making the experience quite tedious. Lastly, the shower door didn’t close properly, causing water to spill all over the bathroom floor.

We had to switch rooms during our stay. First room was the 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds which was great. Beds were comfortable and a good price. Then we had to switch to a 1 bedroom with sofa bed that was terrible. Even the actual queen bed was different. Super hard foam or something. The problem is also they don’t have a full time front desk and we were going out around 8am so the day we switched rooms, there wasn’t even anyone around so we could store luggage. We were told that the cleaning person would be around but she was not. Staff seems apathetic but I understand this is more of a budget hotel with a great location. Originally when we arrived at the hotel at 2:30pm we were abruptly told that check- in doesn’t start until 3pm.
