We stayed at Garni Hotel Miklic for one night when in Kranjska Gora as part of a tour around Slovenia. The room was spacious and very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

Excellent & friendly service from hotel staff and delicious breakfast with so many varieties. Well recommended and as a family it was a very short stay but we loved it. Lovely hotel and lovely view of snow capped mountains from the balcony.

Excellant location, very friendly and helpful staff, hearty breakfast, amazing view from the balcony. Overall we loved our stay here. The only minus was not having the elevator. We had to lift our bags to second floor. But it was okay for us.

We had a wonderful time in Kranjska Gora and in particular in Garni Hotel Miklic. A literal slice of heaven. Sadly we were only passing through on our way to a wedding in Italy, but after the way we were treated at this place, we are currently planning a full vacation here. We were greeted by the kindest gentleman at the front, and every single person was so kind and helpful. We got upgraded to a huge suite with two bedrooms and a whole living room because we were traveling with a baby and there was some construction towards the front and they didn't want the noise to wake the baby. They also told us we could leave the car parked there while we went on a little hike after checking out. I was literally speechless at how thoughtful and kind these people were. The place was massive and so charming. The view from all three balconies was straight out of a fairytale. The big red flowers in the window boxes with the mountain backdrop live in my memories, as does the splendid breakfast with fresh juices and cheese, locally made yoghurt, and more kinds of food than I could even try. The area is also beautiful for walking with lots of charming little shops and restaurants, and some beautiful hikes nearby. People can really make or break a vacation experience, and in this case, the people are the main reason we would do a whole vacation here. I cannot imagine a more perfect place. We cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful hotel in Kranjska Gora
Lovely alpine style hotel in the town of Kranjska Gora. Few mins walk to all of the local area including ski area, restaurants, and other amenities. All felt very safe even at night. Room was spacious and comfy with a balcony view overlooking the surrounding mountains. Bed was lovely and everything was nice and clean. Boot room at the bottom of the hotel to keep ski gear during the season including heated boot rack. Man who checked us in, didn't get his name, was super helpful and friendly. Arranged a sauna at the hotel for 20 euro which was relaxing. Would recommend.

Excellent hotel
We chose this hotel from the great reviews and we were not disappointed, The location was perfect, 5 minutes to get to the shops and restaurants, and only a couple of minutes from the ski slopes. Being able to ski to the bottom and walk back to the hotel in a matter of minutes, is a real bonus. The rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable, and the views were amazing. All the staff at this family run hotel were friendly and could not have been more helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious! We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Bellissima esperienza
Piacevolissima esperienza. Nonostante non sia previsto il check-in oltre un certo orario ed avendo ricevuto per tempo le istruzioni per l'accesso alla struttura, abbiamo trovato al nostro arrivo qualcuno ad attenderci ed a mostrarci come muoverci nell'albergo. La nostra stanza era in realtà un mini appartamento molto spazioso e silenzioso. Dulcis infondo, la struttura offre una abbondante e variegata colazione e il personale è super educato e gentile. Torneremo di sicuro!

Excellent staff and spacious rooms. Hotel is within walking distance of town and all its restaurants. Close to trails and the river as well.

Excellent choice in Kranjska Gora
I would recommend Hotel Miklic without hesitation. It was comfortable, very clean, and everyone we spoke to at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Best breakfast during our entire 3-week stay in Slovenia. Very close (5 minutes walk) to everything in town while also being set back in a quieter area.

The hotel is perhaps a little dated, but surpassed our expectations. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very spacious, with a lovely balcony with a view of the mountains. We would gladly stay here again.

Het hotel is zeer centraal gelegen in de omgeving. Wij bezochten het hotel in september om de omgeving en natuur te ontdekken, daar leent dit hotel zich perfect voor! Wij wilde ook even sporten in het hotel. Er staat een paar, functionele, apparaten maar het is niet groot. Wij hebben ook gedineerd in het hotel en dat is goed! Porties zijn echt enorm. Ontbijt is echt een verademing! Wat was dat geweldig!

We loved our stay here. The owners were lovely and incredibly helpful. We love to hike and we had both the very steep and the meandering meadow. Warning: the portions at dinner are huge. Make sure to be hungry! We will return! Breakfast is also excellent!

Dear Mr. Tsuchi, Thank you for your visit and review. We are glad you liked the breakfast and we apologize for the inconvenience about the wifi signal. The malfuncation occured only on the second floor. In the ground floor and first floor it was operating normaly and that is also why we didn't notice the malfunction until the next day. If you would inform us imidiatly we could solve it quickly. The router just needed to be reset. I hope you had a nice stay in Kranjska Gora despite the miss of Wifi signal in the room. Great hotel with nice rooms, new equipment, parking onsite. Breakfast was also very nice and we even got espresso and capuccino for free. Hotel is close to lake area and also to pedestrian zone.

Pleasant small hotel but restaurant overpriced
An enjoyable stay but room was a bit cramped and overlooked from the road. Food and very average quality wine were at least 50% more expensive than at an equally good restaurant in town.

The room and terrace were really spacious and comfortable, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. Easy walk to the old town center, And breakfast was great! Would definitely stay here again!

Landschaftlich schön gelegen. Wir hatten ein grosses, schön eingerichtetes, sauberes Zimmer mit grossem, modernem Bad. Frühstück umfangreich und lecker. Abendessen (Halbpension) a la carte: sehr reichlich und ausgezeichnet.

High quality hotel close to all amenities.
Excellent family run hotel close to centre of town. All the staff were friendly and professional. Restaurant was high quality, good value meals with a varied menu. Our room had a balcony looking out to the ski slope and mountains, the decoration was bright and clean with an overall high quality feel. The whole hotel was spotless, even the hallways which was a test in itself given all the shower and muddy boots in and out all day long. Fabulous find, would recommend to all, facilities for families and children catered for in the restaurant.

The hotel and restaurant were excellent. The staff was very helpful. Kranjska Gora is a lovely village and the surrounding area is gorgeous. The ski area is aimed more towards families so it wasn’t as challenging as we had hoped. Even so the hotel made the trip very enjoyable.
