We stayed at the Patra as a family and would happily return. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast had an extensive range of foods. We really enjoyed the location which was at the far end of Kuta beach - very convenient to the airport but plane noise was not an issue at all. Our beach was also very quiet, but we could walk along the beach footpath and be in central Kuta in about 15 minutes. Only issue was the hotel no longer has a gym and our friend had some repeating trouble with her door key card. However, very good value for money and would recommend.

I’m sure this was a great property when it was first built. The villas are quite spacious & the pools and restaurants large and seem quite nice. It’s on very large grounds & a bit confusing to get around. But the whole place is tired and not well maintained. Tiles falling off walls, some buildings crumbling and run down. We were only there for an afternoon while waiting for a late night flight, and that’s the best thing about the place, its proximity to the airport. We ate at the Italian restaurant & the food was fine & cocktails a highlight, though pricey for Bali. The toilet in our room stopped flushing & a maintenance man came down to fix it. Within an hour it stopped working again, which I get the sense is the story of this place. The views looking out to the ocean from the pool/restaurant area is great though. I paid very little to stay here as I had Expedia credits, if I had paid full price I would be disappointed, so I wouldn’t come back, there are better options near the airport.
