Great location at the bottom of the lift which was handy for a mid day sauna in the -20 degree weather! Having a ski clothing warmer and sauna was amazing but instructions for those and the dishwasher could be more accessible. No free parking. Would definitely go back!

Our stay was exactly what my fiancé and I were hoping for! The room had absolutely everything needed for a ski trip. It had a spectacular view with both a hot tub and sauna. It was spacious, equipped with all the kitchen necessities, and was close to the rentals and gondola. Not too mention all the nearby restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Looked nice but not the beds promised

It said that it had beds for 8 and we put we have 7. It showed 8 regular twin beds when we booked, but got there and there was only 6 twin and a very uncomfortable sofa bed that definitely could not sleep 2 I asked about it but they said the room technically sleeps 8 and wouldn’t move us. Overall clean and spacious. Both the showers are in one bathroom with sauna and washing. Machine and toilet all in one space, so the setup is not ideal for multiple people needing to shower quickly. The other 2 bathrooms were just half baths. No one is available on location during the evening, so when we needed help turning the sauna on, no one could help us. Dishwasher didn’t clean.i asked for coffee filters and was told we have to buy our own which seems weird from all the places we’ve stayed.

Self served overnight

Overall a pleasant night in Ruka. The room was nice and large and obviously has all the amenities for a lovely skiing stay. What we looked for this time was a sauna in the room, which was great, eating possibilities near, right next to reception and easy access, elevator right in from the parking garage underneath. All good there. Nice and clean. Code access to rooms. Improvement points : it could have been mentioned in the reservation email the information about the parking (now I had to drive up front go in the hotel and ask about it and then peel back into the garage). Minor thing. I don`t recommend the Colorado restaurant for food. Might be ok for just drinking...just get out and do one of the many other alternatives near the hotel. Overall a good stay. Oh one more thing. In smaller rooms the breakfast is included but in the bigger one we had (with the kitchenette) it is not included. Very odd. You obviously can get it by paying separate but...

Ihan kiva, asiakaspalvelu oli hyvää.

Googlen karttapalvelu ei löytänyt reittiä hotellille.. jouduin soittamaan Holiday inn -asiakaspalveluun joka kääntyi Helsinkiin ja saimme sieltä käsin oikein hyvää ja ystävällistä opastusta. Respa oli jo kiinni ja samoin ravintolat koska olimme sesongin ulkopuolella. Kirjauduimme autioon hotelliin itse ovikoodeilla mikä oli ihan toimiva juttu. Huone oli siisti ja riittävä ja sauna hyvä lisä. Hinta oli varmasti edullinen. Aamulla löytyi respastakin työntekijä, joka oli todella hyvä ja iloinen asiakaspalvelija, kiitos! Oman ravintolan ollessa kiiinni aamiainen saatiin nauttia vastapäisessä Scandicissa ja se oli erinomainen, take away -kahvitkin sai mukaan pyydettäessä. Tulisimme uudelleenkin jos Ruka itsessään olisi meille mielenkiintoinen, nyt vain majoittauduimme yhden yön yli kesken pidemmän road trip-retken.

Petit déjeuner nul, décevant

Chambre simple propre et efficace, parfait pour une nuit ou deux. Bien placé dans la station de ski. En revanche le petit déjeuner est vraiment nul. Gardez votre argent pour manger ailleurs. Qualité des produits médiocre même pour quelqu’un de peu exigeant. Peu de choix et l’endroit est sombre. Décevant.

Kätevä yöpymispaikka perheelme

+ Todella kätevä yöpymispaikka Ruka Villagen ytimessä. Ovikoodilla helppo päästä suoraan sisään niin rakennukseen kuin asuntoonkin ilman erillistä sisäänkirjautumista. +Siisti ja tilava asunto, joka sopi hyvin kolmihenkiselle perheellemme. Teini-ikäiselle pojalle oma huone. Hotelli ei tarjoa aamupalaa, vaan kyseessä on enemmänkin asunto, jossa aamupala kai oletetaan tehtävän itse. Aamupalalla kävimme erillisestä maksusta vastapäätä olevassa hotellissa. Hintaan suhteutettuna olisin toivonut, että huoneessa olisi kuitenkin ollut kahvia tarjolla.

Kämppä oli erinomainen ja siisti. Sängyt erittäin mukavat. Kohteen sijainti täydellinen. Ainut miinus tulee parkkihallin pölyisyydestä. Kolmen päivän pysäköinnin aikana auto kuorrutettu kokonaan pölyllä. Tämä oli todella epämiellyttävä yllätys.

Loistava valinta

Ehdottomasti tulen uudestaankin. Huoneesta suoraan rinteeseen ja rinteen jälkeen omaan saunaan. Lautailukamat sai näppärästi lukolliseen huonekohtaiseen kaappiin kellarissa. Hotelliaamiainen Colorado ravintolassa. auton sai ilmaiseen parkkiin Scandic conferencen edustalle ja siellä se koko loman olikin kun kaikki palvelut lähellä niin sitä ei mihinkään tarvinnut.

Rukan majoitus

Paikka on hyvä ja helppo liikkua, kun parkkitalosta pääsee suoraan hotelliin. Hotellin hajumaailma oli kummallinen. Huoneessa haisi tullessa joku kunnallinen parfyymi, ilmeisesti oli tarkoitettu hyvää, mutta määrä oli liiallinen. 2. Kerroksen käytävässä haisi ilmeisesti alakerran burgeripaikan keittiö. Amme pesuhuoneessa oli mielestäni turha, pelkkä suihku olis ollut parempi. Palvelu oli ystävällistä.

Vastasi hotellikuvausta.

Helppo varaus. Chek-in ja Out vaivattomia. Hinta/ Laatu- suhde kohdallaan. Huone vastasi kuvattua. Hotellin yleiset alueet kaipaisivat kunnostusta ja olivat vähän vanhahtaneita. Jos jossain oli ilmainen pysäköinti, niin siitä ei ollut mitään ohjetta .
