For not speaking the same language it went very very smooth. Very clean and a great location. Any difficulties were solved. Only complaint is the walls were a little thin if you have neighboring guests.

Modern, very central, new building with very nice room. Excellent bed and pillows, Bathroom is small with walk in shower. The view on city from most rooms is nice.

We stayed at this hotel because the reviews were so good and because of the location so close to the Maidan. Turns out the reviews were quite accurate. Everything was great. The room was clean and spacious. Everything in the bathroom was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful and very security conscious. Only a few steps from Maidan. Worth the money.

The Opera Hotel is on a quiet street where you can relax in luxurious comfort, without any pretension. The beds, linens, and bathroom amenities are excellent and you feel pampered, but your privacy is respected as well.

A truly nice small property 1-2 metro station from the heart of Kiev. suites/apartmnts are spacious and have everything you need. didnt try the breakfast they offer via the Patisserie adjacent, but their cakes and sandwiches are amazing.

From the U.S. Staying in Kiev for business for 5 days. I was unsure about this hotel because of the mixed reviews but I can say this was easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms were huge, full facilities with a bedroom, full closet, bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The staff was very helpful booking us taxi's when necessary and we are a cooked breakfast every morning at the restaurant. I spent 8 nights at the Vozdvyzhensky in late October, as a tourist. It was my first trip to Kiev. I do hope to go back, and I would not consider any other hotel. Its location is perfect for exploring the city; EVERYONE working there was extremely warm and helpful, and completely welcoming. I stayed for 6 days at the Senator Victory Square. It was a fantastic experience. The hotel staff is superb, always ready to help, and made thing very easy. The restaurant is a hidden gem. Food was fantastic, service impeccable, and atmosphere terrific.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at Bontiak Hotel. Starting with the room - it was clean, spacious, with really good blackout curtains (for those 4am sunrises), remote-controlled a/c.Super quiet, first time in Europe I didn't need earplugs. I stayed in the Luxury Apartment. Worth the money. The cafe is excellent and they prepare good food right on property. There is a Silpo grocery store close by and all kinds of dining options in walking distance. Use the Kontraktova metro stop it’s easier. Ukrainian Starbucks is Aroma Kava. Grab a latte every time you go to and from the Metro. I’ll be staying at KONTRAKT every time I come to Kyiv. It’s quiet and the nightlife is ten minutes walk away if you really want to bogey.
