The room was a bit run down - chipped paint etc. On the first night we couldn’t get the tv to work, and neither could the staff person who came to help. The fan in the room didn’t work and wasn’t repaired for the duration of our stay. The safe didn’t work and when we queried the staff, we were given a key - so it seemed as though the combination lock hadn’t worked for a while. My son had a shower and after a while we noticed that the bathroom was flooding, due to a cracked shower base. When we reported this to the staff we were given a mop to clean it up ourselves, as if we had caused the problem. The female staff member who checked us in and out was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. The food at the restaurant was good, as was the breakfast, and the male staff were all helpful and friendly.

The location is good but without any plantings. No place for greenery. Children’s cries in pool echoed loudly into rooms. Air conditioning blows directly on beds and did not respond to the temperature control. Otherwise, a nice modern hotel with an excellent breakfast.

A bit too pricey and noisy, loud music with cheap speacker going all day, if resting is what you look for I would think twice, rooms face the pool so noise is constant, Had to call front desk and insist to have some people in the pool at 11pm stop making noise. Staff very friendly and food is very good.

Shower was not that clean. Water pressure on the shower head was very weak. No wifi signal in room. Had to go to corner of balcony to get signal. Asked to change rooms but the only other room smelled like smoke.

Tucan suites fue una buena experiencia lindas habitaciones super limpias con todo lo que nescesitas, una piscina disponible dia y noche y lo mejor siempre limpia, los trabajodores de hotel muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte! Tambien tienen transportacion gratuita al aeropuerto y el restaurant tiene un menu variado y muy bueno, en Peru siempre se come rico y Tucan suites no es la exepcion! Lo recomiendo mil un pequeño hotel con todas las comodidades , de la selva su tucan suites

En lille oase i Tarapoto

En lille oase i Tarapoto er bedste beskrivelse af Tucan. God service, mini lejlighed med lille køkken og lækker balkon med udsigt over poolområdet og til gaden. Dejligt hvis man ikke vil være midt i det hele. Hotellet er en smule udenfor centrum, så ikke meget støj fra trafikken. Flot indrettet og fint poolområde med liggestole og borde/stole hvis det er hvad man ønsker. Restauranten var rigtig god og med et fint udvalg og gode portionsstørrelser. Morgenmaden var fin, selvom om der var lidt pres på pladsen. Bestemt et sted vi vil benytte en anden gang.

We liked the hotel a lot. Super comfortable if you are traveling with family. The pool is a little small perhaps, especially given the angle in the photos they show. The rooms could use a little renovation, as there are some things that need maintenance and replacing like doorknobs that don't work, etc. The restaurant and bar are good. We saw rats by the pool at night, but that might be almost impossible to avoid without also poisoning the guests in Tarapoto. All in all, it was a comfortable stay for a big group.

Me encantó la habitación y la limpieza de las instalaciones, el personal muy amable y atento (incluso desde antes de llegar con sus coordinaciones por mail para el transporte). Todo increible! :) Lo único que no me gustó fue la cantidad de mosquitos debajo de las mesas del área del restaurante que nos llenaron las piernas de picaduras. (Sugieron colocar enchufes repelentes en esa zona).
