Rainforest Villa was amazing very clean, staff was awesome at all times, chefs were great, enough options for dinner in the resort as well as amenities where you dont have to leave the resort make sure to eat at la terazza as chef John is awesome. The resort feels like you right in the middle of the rainforest full of beautiful lush landscapes.

Best hotel experience we’ve had in a long time!

We booked Nayara Gardens as part of our last few days after spending 10 days in other areas of Costa Rica. It was the best way to end our vacation, everything at the hotel was amazing starting with the check in, the restaurants, the breakfast and a really nice touch which was that laundry of our clothes was included!

Probably in top 2 or 3 places we have ever stayed at. The whole resort is built in a rainforest or the rainforest has grown around the resort in ways the two are one. The room, the ambience, the service, the food, the environment, the plunge pools,...everything was so so amazing. Had one of our most memorable couple experiences at Nayara Gardens and Nayara Springs!

The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning architecture, lush gardens, hanging bridges, and impeccably maintained grounds that feel very private and peaceful. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. Our room offered a lovely view of the Arenal Volcano and included an outdoor jacuzzi, an outdoor shower, and an indoor shower. We were also fortunate to see two toucans directly from our room, which was a special highlight. Overall, our experience was mixed. The staff was attentive and friendly, but did not seem sincere. The food was generally mediocre and overpriced. Breakfast was particularly disappointing, as it felt prepackaged rather than freshly prepared. The front desk recommended the Middle Eastern fusion restaurant, which did not meet our expectations, though the wine list was excellent. The Italian restaurant, Mis Amores, stood out as the best dining option on the property and also offered the best service. The staff at Mis Amores were genuinely welcoming and authentic. Their warmth felt sincere, and their interactions reflected their personality and culture rather than rehearsed courtesy. The spa treatments were underwhelming for the price. That said, I would return for the beautiful rooms, lush gardens, and overall setting, which are truly exceptional.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and really loved it. The vibe is tropical and intimate. It was very romantic. The staff are extremely friendly all the time and the spas are incredible. Awesome if you are looking for the jungle side of Costa Rica near the Arenal Volcano.

I would recommend Nayara Gardens a thousand times over. Absolutely amazing stay. My entire trip was incredible, and it was all made possible by the outstanding staff and the resort itself. I don’t have a single complaint — not one. I’ll definitely be back within the next six months. Special shoutout to John, Johan, and Francisco — they truly went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. I celebrated my birthday and a few personal milestones while there, and the team made every moment feel special with thoughtful complimentary touches. Breakfast was included and hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. So many delicious and healthy options — I left the country craving their breakfast. Even though I didn’t get to meet the property manager, Luis, his leadership clearly shows through the entire team. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and dedicated to making sure guests had a perfect experience. If you’re planning a trip to Costa Rica, do yourself a favor — go to La Fortuna and stay at Nayara Gardens. Tell them I sent you.

Our stay at Nayara Gardens was truly unforgettable, it exceeded all of our expectations! The property is absolutely stunning, with lush gardens, breathtaking views, and an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and serene. Every corner feels like a little slice of paradise. What really made the experience stand out was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. From our amazing tour guide and driver who went above and beyond with our kids, to the thoughtful golf cart drivers who created little magical moments for them, everyone made us feel at home and well cared for. The rooms were beautiful and private, the pools and hot springs were dreamy, and the dining options were delicious. We loved how family-friendly it was while still feeling like a romantic and relaxing getaway. We can’t recommend Nayara Gardens enough, it’s a place where you can truly disconnect, reconnect with nature, and create memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to come back!

Sept/Oct was an amazing time to go in my opinion. Slower and less crowded, and the weather made the Termas even better. A light rain and fog while in the thermal baths in the middle of the rain forest. Everything was better than we could have hoped for and expected. The property, and staff/service is next level, and we were really impressed! It was surprising to learn that Nayara Gardens guests can use Nayara Springs amenities too! The Casitas in Nayara Gardens were perfect, and the staff split the king bed into two beds for me and my friend! Amazing place, and we will be back!!
