"Everything was great, room was clean, easy check in and out. Only downside is if you get any towels dirty (with marks that will easily come out in a wash) they charge you for it. Are they not washing towels in between uses anyway? Other than that was a lovely stay. The cook at the snack bar was excellent. "

"Flawlessly clean room and everything. The staff was top notch! All of them. If you need anything they got the answer. Only thing is like all the place is this area of Tulum, the construction can get loud. So for get about random naps. I still give this beautiful place a 10/10!!"

"Breakfast was scarce. Not much to offer and the man running the breakfast was extremely rude. We skipped they’re breakfast for those reasons and ate in town for a much more pleasurable experience seeing as we were on vacation. The main Pool had so much chlorine in it we only went in once it hurt skin/eyes. Our private rooftop pool was not clean. Pretty disappointing. The staff didn’t speak much English or pretended not to so there was not much to do but deal with this place while we were there. I would not recommend this place to stay at if you are looking for anything others than a basic place to sleep. There are no amenities and it is run down. The staff was not accommodating at all. The room was cleaned 1 time in a week. We tried for a second cleaning and it appeared that they didn’t do anything but remove the trash and make the bed. Floor not cleaned, counters not wiped. Strange. We did leave the housekeeping all of our leftover food (pantry) we over bought. All in all we were highly disappointed in this place. Online it looks nice but it is not what it looks like online in person. And the treatment from the staff was cold. We travel a lot and this is not a place I would recommend"

"Stayed with my wife and six year old. We all loved it here. It's cozy, quiet, thoughtfully designed and is a relaxing place to stay. The staff were so nice that we came back to visit them after we'd moved on to our second hotel of the trip. I wish we'd stayed here the entire time!"

"We stayed 7 nights at Little Gem Hotel in Tulum (Early April), located in the La Veleta neighbourhood. This was our very first vacation in Mexico, so we don’t have much to compare it to—but our experience was fantastic. We chose this hotel based on its price, location, and the most recent reviews, and it definitely lived up to expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful, the rooms and pool were consistently clean, and the location was perfect—especially if you enjoy great food, whether authentic or fusion. Nestor and Mayumy went above and beyond to help us discover the area. They recommended excellent restaurants and guided us to beautiful beaches, cenotes, and lagoons. The hotel also offers free bike rentals, and affordable scooter rentals can be easily arranged through the front desk, which made getting around very convenient. We would absolutely love to come back in the near future."
