"Room looked like it had recently been remodeled which was one of the better parts of this stay. I wanted to use the pool but it was so green it detoured me from doing so. I didn't have any hot water so cold showers for me. There was mold in the restroom. The sink wouldn't drain properly and I found a flea on my bed at least im hoping it was only one. Breakfast was disappointing, I went to get cereal and the milk was spoiled. The syrup for the waffle tasted terrible. The fridge for the yogurts was not cooling. I feel the stay was a bit over priced for what it was."

"AC worked amazing!! Couldn’t get the TV to work. Loved the convenience to Lackland Air Force Base. Parking was right in front of the room. You can hear the planes at night, didn’t bother us but just be aware. "

"Highly recommend staying here! Close to the base, they give you a map to help with getting to the base and returning back to the hotel. The staff was very friendly very knowledgeable. We stayed in a king room the bed was comfortable the room was clean the shower was hot."

"Hotel confirmed I would have an ajoining room with my son and granddaughter to assist with her care. When I arrived, we found we were on opposite sides of the hotel. This was frustrating because I stayed in touch with the hotel to confirm."

"Room was dirty and stained everywhere, smelled moldy and weird, there was hair, clipped nails and big pieces of dead human skin on the bed and floor. I asked for another room and was somehow worse, so I got moved to a third one and was just like the first one. These are no living conditions not even for 1 minute. I booked a whole ween in advanced and didn’t even stayed there for 10 minutes. Pictures on the website are deceiving and not a real representation of what you will get. Also a lot of people doing drugs and watching you every move when you go in our out of you car, the location is not secure and very ghetto."

"I really wanted to like Econo Inn Lackland AFB as a low cost option for those visiting Lackland to see their son or daughter graduate Basic Military Training. Partly because of the location close to the base (within a 10 minute drive to the Luke East Gate), it seemed like a good no frills option for housing and their staff was so kind in trying to accommodate me. But there were too many issues I encountered. First issue was the large cockroach in bathroom by the tub in my first room. After changing rooms, the second issue was the sticking door that caused the door handle to break off in my hand when trying to close it. After changing to another room, the third issue was the smoke-smelling room (despite this being a no-smoking hotel). I kept the room since there were no others. Fourth issue was the rain leaking through the ceiling on my last night there waking me up at 4AM from the dripping from the ceiling nearly landing on my open laptop. Aside from these issues that directly affected me, there was at least one abandoned car in the parking lot (tires flat) as well as some long term residents living in one of the rooms. To be fair, the beds were clean and soft with no signs of bed bugs in the three rooms I examined, the room air conditioner worked well to cool the room, there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room and parking was plentiful. Everyone makes their own choice on where they decide to stay, so please use this info in making your decision."
