โThe hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed using the pool before breakfast when it wasn't busy.
We felt there wasn't enough social space to sit and have a coffee and chat with other guests. There also seemed to be a problem with the courtyard bar which wasn't open during our stay.โ
โGreat spa amenities that is accessible from everyone. Slightly out of town so walking will take about 20-30 minutes. Staff upgraded us to a larger room which was amazing. Overall fantastic stay in Killarney โ
โIncredible hotel and wonderful staff! Beautiful evening at their restaurant as well as the food was excellent.
Only frustration is that our room did not have air conditioning. Only some rooms have AC but our door opened which allowed plenty of air flow from outside.โ
โThe apartment was very spacious for our family of 4. 2 bathrooms were nice! No swimming pool but had a relaxing communal hot tub in the spa area that you could use for up to 2 hours at an additional cost. The concierge was wonderful and very helpful! โ
โWe stayed at The Killarney Park for three of our ten nights in the southwest of Ireland and wish we could have stayed there all ten! The hotel was superb in luxury, customer service, and attention to detail. From bath salts for the claw-footed tub to a welcome note and snack from the management, the staff went out of their way to give us the vacation of a lifetime. The hotel is steps from the most beautiful park we've ever walked (Killarney House and Gardens) and is across the street from shops...
โThe Ross is a small hotel right in town. The rooms are a little dated, but well maintained. Room 205 overlooks a cemetery, which may be an issue for some. The included breakfast is sit down with some delicious hot options (I.e. omelets, Irish Breakfast, etc). The bar around the corner, Paddy Sheehanโs had awesome live musical performances. Thereโs also a large/nicer gift shop nearby, Christyโs. The hotel itself has a bar downstairs, Pollyโs. They had a decent selection of top shelf...
โClose to a the best eating places
Comfy bed and pillows
Helpful relaxed pleasant staff
Lots of bars and pubs outside.
Good Parking right outside
But busy car park, often need to drive around 2-3 times to get a slot.
Safe area.
Back entrance gets you quicker to the parks โ
โBig room. Good parking area . We are always looking for original retro accommodations and this is it. Hotel itself is attraction. Definitely coming back on our next trip!โ
โThis hotel, the fairview was one of the best hotels in my life. Nice location, cheap car park nearby, very kind staff, cozy room, and wonderful breakfast. The atmosphere is elegant and quiet.
The best thing was, I could upgrade my room to PENTHOUSE SUITE for a good price. The room was terrific! The room is very delicately decorated. In the large suite room, you can watch TV on a compfy sofa, or have a good sleep on a large, beautiful bed. Also there is a Jacuzzi for 2 persons, with a TV. You...
