We always enjoy our stay at the Honua Kai. Wide open property with multiple pools. Great Duke's poolside service. Easy parking garage with above ground options. Plus, a great walkway along the beach or neighboring resorts. We look forward to returning.

The room was awesome! The restaurant Dukes is a 10/10 that is there in the property. Pools and really nice, access to the beach is also right there. Bed was super comfortable. Well worth the money.

Room was absolutely clean and gorgeous. Bigger than we expected. It was clean and accessible to pool. Concierge was very responsive and helpful. Only callout is they provided only 2 sets of mini toiletries and our family stayed for almost a week.

This suite has a lanai that has a solid wall which means that you cannot sit on the lanai and enjoy any sort of view. One of the two loungers is completely broken and should be removed from the lanai. The handle on the dryer comes off in your hand.

I would give my overall experience 1 rating out of 10. irrespective of how they calibrate my rating to 8 or 9 automatically. Pls review your management staff and services honestly if you’d like customers to stay. Honua Kai by KBM was a huge disappointment. The unit was old, shabby, and poorly maintained—even the doors didn’t function properly citing critical privacy concerns. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. KBM Service ground staff was kind and they immediately admitted the issue to be a bigger problem with the unit, and briefly connected us to another unit’s Wi-Fi, but that failed too. After that, management went silent. Maria from Guest Services, was rude and dismissive and was of no help even after sharing issues timely. Basic bathroom toiletries were empty for over 48 hours, forcing us to buy our own later. The basic services are completely unacceptable for the price. The area is very beautiful, but don’t ruin your holiday and peace of mind dealing with this poor management and terrible service. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else directly.
