Really like this hotel. Beautiful view, off the beaten path a bit but still a not too far tuk tuk ride to town. More laid back than the fancier hotel next door but you can still eat there. Loved that breakfast and kayaks were included. Staff was really nice. Good value too. Staying here was like the best of both worlds with the convenience of staying in Panajachel but views being on the lake, especially if you only have a couple nights at the lake.

A little piece of heaven.

Beautiful property and accommodations, right on the lake. An easy tuk tuk ride to town. Solid breakfast and staff. I'd be back in a heartbeat. The restaurant down to road, Migoya's, is a convenient gem.

Wonderful Service and Incredible View

The staff at Hotel San Buenaventura was so lovely and kind. They helped us arrange a TukTuk into town and pointed us toward the Nature center close by. We loved the views from the pool and lake. They did not have an evening restaurant or bar and so we went down the street. Loved our stay.

Beautiful property and very nice and friendly staff. Only downside is WiFi isn’t working if your room is opposite side of the lobby. Otherwise everything else about this hotel is perfect if you are looking to relax and recharge.

We had a great time, great experience everything was wonderful the breakfast. Everything was so beautiful. The only thing that we did not like it was that when we bought our ticket through Expedia says that the airport was 1:15 from us he hotel and that was a big lie, it was almost 3 hours and a half away from the airport that it was kind of disappointing for us because we were expecting to get there sooner. That was only unexpected time for us, other than that, we had a great time there.

I absolutely loved this hotel and staff. Everyone was amazing. The front desk people were so helpful, called us tuk tuks, ordered in food for us. I wish i remembered his name but one of the guys spoke English and was awesome. The tuk tuks from hotel took only about 15 mins to get us. Santander street (all shopping, bars and restaurants) was like a 8 min ride away and a 30 min walk which we did a couple times. The view from the hotel was absolutely insane. I’d stay there every time I go to Guatemala.

The information they send you at the start of the stay about the town and who to contact for various services was incredibly valuable and the staff was very nice and helpful. The tap water also being filtered was very convenient.

Beautiful and peaceful with Great lake access and views. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They will order Tuk Tuks to go to Pana for 10Q per person. They don’t serve dinner, so going to Pana or the hotel down the street is necessary.
