“We had a great experience at Whispering Winds! The staff was super friendly and the check in process was quick. This is a very cute little roadside motel - the rooms are more like tiny bungalows than a hotel room. Everything was clean and well cared for. The whole place is a little dated but honestly, that really added to the charm for us. "During the college graduation season, hotel rates were unreasonably high. While I understand that prices can go up during peak seasons, this was a rural hotel, and the rates felt unjustified. The staff were friendly and kind, but the condition of the hotel was disappointing— the bathroom fan didn’t work, and the drain was clogged. It was originally $609 per night plus tax, totaling $1,425 for two nights, which was absolutely not worth it. I appealed to the manager and got it reduced to around $900, but even that felt too expensive for the quality of the hotel."
