The lady working the front desk, Jaqueline, was sweet but told me she’s been working less than two weeks, isn’t entirely sure how to handle some situations, and was calling her manager late at night for other guests with no answer. When it came to checking out, I was told to leave my room key on the front desk with other guests' keys; I called back a little later after my graduation ceremony to confirm she had checked me out. She then checked me out after 2 pm when I left before 10 am! The time to check out by was 11 am. I asked if I would be charged for her mistake, and she told me she’d have to call her manager, who never answers the phone, to help her. I'm not sure why she’s on her own just yet. Management is setting her up for failure with insufficient training.
