attention incohérence de réservation
très belles installations
bons repas
joli cadre
mais accueil très froid.
malgré notre réservation incluant le dîner selon l'application, nous avons dû repayer le dîner car le boss prétendait que le dîner n'était pas inclus, soit une perte nette de 120 Talas pour notre famille pour une nuit.
Taufua has always been one of our favourite places in the world. It’s situated on the most picturesque white sand beach, the ocean is beautifully calm and lovely for swimming with the whole family. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating and it’s such great value for money.
Had an amazing 4 days here. The family were lovely people to meet, and extremely accommodating.
The free evening meals were very tasty, and the way people sit down together encourages you to make new friends, which is great if you’re solo traveling. I highly recommend doing the umu feast on sunday, it was delicious, and getting to see it being prepared was amazing.
The rest of the fales on the south east coast were basically empty on the drive down, (quiet time of year) so it was nice to see some people to meet here.
Also and most importantly, auntie Segnar is the best tour guide in the whole island!
P.s if your booking in wet season i would avoid an open fale, as the wind is a bit much.

From the moment we arrived, everything was disappointing. The bungalows on level1& 2 were hard to drive up to & reverse out of. Our room stayed on our booking that it was on level 2, but when we got there, which was dark by then, we found out it was on level 1. The girl/host was rude & was friendly..didn’t even bother to show us our room etc. The room didn’t have cutlery, bin, milk & coffee we had to. but from them, and linen were dirty and had Queensland hospital on some of them. Wasn’t worth the money we paid. Very unhappy with host & at the end of our stay she charged us for 2 extra children under 10yrs we had in the room that slept 5 people. Thought they were free, but guess misread it or they misled me?
Will never stay there EVER again.
Loved the location. Very affordable and loved that it included breakfast and dinner. The beach is just stunning and our room was very clean and absolutely worth it. HOGHLY RECOMMEND!!
This was our second stay, love the staff, the beach , the setting and the community feel and seating at meal times allows you to meet lots of great people . We won’t be able to stay away for long :)
Very nice surroundings and friendly staff. Food was good as well.

I rented the enclosed beachfront fale with a sundeck, which is airy and spacious. This fale is right next to the social area / eating area so not very private. Dinner was really satisfying, a big local beer is 10 tala. Lalomanu is remote and it was nice getting there. Taufua is not too great of a value compared to fales on Savaii but the area is a nice escape from an island that's already an escape!
Super Hotel perfect.
Perfectly located on Lalomanu beach and near To Sua Ocean Trench.
Good service, clean and comfortable room. We were on Level 1 with aircond and private Bathroom.
We booked a ocean view fale and we got a fale overlooking the road. When we mentioned this to the so called manager, it took the old lady a few minutes to simply look up and start a conversation. I assume they are used to having a whole lot of power and therefore not being used to accept any negativity or complaints from whoever 'dares' speaking up to them. This could easily be felt when you spoke to the staff about this. Conclusion; we booked through Expedia and so there was nothing she could do about it, period.
Later we noticed the roof of the fale was filled with holes. Samoa receives a lot of tropical rain storms and we thought it was best to have a waterproof roof. We mention this to some staff and they advised us to change our fale and mention this to the manager. After having paid a visit or three to the manager's table, I grew a little restless because they were simply to lazy to get out of their chair and speak with the staff who were supposed to fix the roof themselves. Instead they let the guest deliver messages to staff instead of getting out of their chair themselves. In my opinion they could use some movement.
The best part is that the second owner, an old man, stood up (surprisingly) and threatened to, and I cite, 'Hit me with a chair if I did not leave his property'.
These 2 persons testify they do not posses any professionally and simply are a disgrace to Samoan values.
Our neighbors stayed 3 nights, without a key to lock up...
BEST BEACH in Samoa, fantastic atmosphere, food and family environment is amazing... Great experience and bonus of free Island nights Saturdays and Wednesday and amazing local food Free Buffet Lunch on Sundays
Highly recommend

Amazing beach for swimming. Loved the communal meals with great food and friendly staff.
We had a great time here, the location is fantastic, and we enjoyed our enclosed fale. We stayed 4 nights. There was a wedding on the weekend we arrived which put us out a little bit because the restaurant/hang out space wasn't available to use after breakfast and the car park was not available for most of our stay. There wasn't a great selection of drinks available to buy because of the wedding, and supplies didn't arrive until the Monday. Breakfast and dinner was included which is part of what attracted us to staying here, however the mealtimes were strictly at 9am and 7pm which was too late for us with a toddler, and a few of the meals were served later than the times we were given (one night we didn't eat until close to 8pm), so we had to eat most of our bought snacks, and buy food elsewhere between lunch and dinner to keep us all going. We found one young female staff member to be really unfriendly which we weren't expecting and she was serving the food. What would've improved our stay was if breakfast had flexible hours of starting from 8am till whenever they chose to close it, and dinner from 6pm till whenever they chose to close it. On our last day we had to leave by 7.30am, and the night before we were able to arrange to have some breakfast items made so we could have this prior to leaving. We were so grateful as this really helped us with our toddler and being able to get away on time.

It was quite. Needed rubbish bins in room. Overall ok.
Basically glamping on an incredibly gorgeous beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and go over and above to make sure you are enjoying yourself. Be sure to participate in the Umu preparation for Sunday lunch. Thanks to Ana, Ena, Fano, Johnny, and Joesa for being awesome. Sorry if I spelled your names wrong!
