“The property was close to down town Restaurants. Hotel parking was good. The breakfast, although good for me was not as satisfying for my wife. We had to request a change of towels and we made our own bed. Given all this the price was good for the location.”

“We had a beautiful room with a wonderfully spacious and luxurious bathroom. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable and had fresh linens. Breakfast was good, although we would have liked to be able to choose an egg without having to pay extra. There is ample parking, and the hotel is beautifully situated. “I arrived at the hotel around 4 o’clock as the check-in time was then. I entered the room and there was mud all over the floor. Brown stains were on the sheets. There were poop marks all spread on the toilet. The bed was quite literally the most uncomfortable thing because there was no support in the middle. The bed frame was 2 pieces of metal that separated if you slept in the middle of the bed, which essentially made a mattress taco.”

Property is right on the lake- perfect to sit and relax or walk around. there is a bar on premises next to the lovely restaurant and there is a bar on the lake just a short walk from the property. close to all the wineries, Watkins glen and breweries. A great weekend escape.”

“Breakfast was delicious. Differing every day. Plentiful and tasty. Room was clean comfortable and lovely. Staff was pleasant and attentive. We were there off season so pool not at issue ”

“This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was amazing. The staff was really friendly. The home was amazing. Close to everything you wanna do and the breakfast was delicious i would recommend staying here to everyone who is interested in going to a bed and breakfast in the area.”

“Arriving at the Showboat Hotel our room was not acceptably clean. The floor was sticky and covered with dirt, mini fridge had mold, and the balcony had dirt/bird droppings that was clearly not kept up with. I called the hotel desk which is not in on the weekends, after speaking with hospitality we were sent a housekeeper. The only productive thing accomplished was that our fridge was switched out for a clean one. The employee “mopped,” resulting in the same floor dirt being pushed around. We...
