At night there was rude children running loose until after 12. The air conditioning was broken and was making too much noise to sleep on the third floor, when it was complained about the staff replied ‘we know about it’. No lift from Friday night due to the children playing in it. The staff were respectful and generally helpful.

Great location for what I required from this trip. Hotel bright, clean and tidy, food and beverages not outrageously priced and a damn good breakfast that set me up for the day. Would totally recommend for short stay business trips.

this property was as always extremely clean with lovely friendly staff an excellent breakfast and a good choice on the menu for our evening meal. The location is perfect for visiting our friends and relatives

Lovely stay with dog
Stayed 1 night just before Christmas. We asked for a room away from the lift as we had a dog, and got a room right at the end of the corrider which was perfect. Hotel room was big, clean, bed was comfy with choice of hard or soft pillows. Breakfast was good and included in the price, the dog can sit in the bar area with you while you eat, although tables are very low there. There are grass areas around the hotel for the dog, or you can do a nice walk down the canal about 20mins. Not many hotels are truely dog friendly but this really was - we'll definitely return!

I stayed here for a short business trip and dined in due to poor weather conditions. The hotel was good, location is fine, staff were extremely good, friendly and helpful. Food was good. The room was good although rooms facing the dual carriageway did experience a little traffic noise at night. I would stay here again when in the area - ideal for business travel.

Great location great service
Great service , the girl on reception (and at breakfast) was full of smiles , enthusiasm and couldn’t be any more helpful! (Chantelle I think her name was). Room was clean reception inviting and had a good lounge area where I met a colleague the following morning.

Having stayed at a couple of your hotels in the past, which satisfied my particular requirements, I was delighted that despite technology having progressed faster than my ability to deal with it, I could still cope with assistance from your staff and enjoy the experience. our room was situated on the back of the hotel, 1st floor. The noise from the motorway traffic helped spoil our nights sleep and nights stay its right next to the motorway and very difficult to find. The bed linen did not fit the duvet my wife called reception to get it sorted and they did not what you want when you are ready to turn in for the night

Good location
Nice stay at this HI Express Right next to the motorway so some traffic noise but didn’t spoil my sleep in the comfy bed. Friendly staff and good free breakfast that’s included in the room rate .

Reception staff and waiting staff were really nice and helpful. Lovely bed. Unfortunately the room maid hadn't a clue about how to make a bed - the bottom sheet wasn't tucked in and the duvet cover was only half on the duvet. Very uncomfortable. Breakfast was very nice indeed.
