Property was very run down looking, and sketchy. When we got our room, I found 1 dead cockroach, 1 cockroach shell, and 1 live cockroach crawling on the wall. The best part of our stay, was the woman who checked us in, when I told her about the room she gave us another room without issue. The second room we got thankfully didn't have anymore cockroaches, but both of the rooms were covered in stains, and bad construction and bad finishes. Electrical sockets that are not even safed off, leaking faucets and the list goes on. You could tell that everyone involved from the top to the bottom just doesn't even care. I will never stay here ever again
I chose this hotel for the location and expected it not to be the best because of the price the room was pretty much exactly what I expected, but the outside of the hotel, especially if you go all the way around to the furthest part of the parking lot where my room was to me as a woman felt unsafe luckily nothing happened. But more of the story you get what you pay for..

Would stay again
The room was fairly clean. Floor lamp didnt work, tub was a bit rusty in corners. Nothing major, also the heater on high wasnt very powerful, but it was quiet which was a plus.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Bathtub wouldn't hold water and the ceiling in the bathroom leaned....it was clean and close to some shops
It was a beautiful state for the evening that I was there! Jacuzzi bathtub worked beautifully and relaxed my muscles! Any issue I had was when checking in they wanted me to put a security deposit down which is the first time they had me do that in the eight times I've stayed there! Only thing I would change from the entire experience there because the place is beautiful rooms was immaculate would be if someone books online there should be no security deposit!

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Tub and toilet have what appear to be permanent stains. Smoke detector was dangling from the wall. Corridors are dark. Building looks like the bulldozers are coming to knock it down tomorrow. Signs up in lobby say that people are not allowed to be in the lobby for more than 20 minutes. Pool is empty “under construction” but there is no construction activity or materials. Looks like it is ready to be used in a low budget horror movie. Mattress was 10 years past when it should have been replaced. A/C had a hard time cooling the room 5 degrees cooler than the outside temperature. One positive note. There are so few guests it’s very quiet.
The first thing you see when you enter tge Lobby is a sign that says you can't stay there longer than 20 mins. Very strange. The checkin man was friendly but the hotel is very run down. And there is no tea or coffee facilities in the lobby or room. Just very tired.
My room in the back of the property was recently renovated, and perfectly acceptable for a budget motel. However, the property appears to have undergone new ownership or another large event. It is a very large motel, but only a few rooms were occupied. A little bit creepy. I half-expected to find my car up on cinder blocks the following morning, but thankfully not.
With the golf tournament in town this week, hotel/motel availability was tight. I wouldn't stay here again if I had other, reasonable choices.
The lobby was disheveled. The bathroom door wouldn't shut. The lamp by the desk was broken so we had to use bathroom light to see. There was no literature to know what channels were on the TV. The light outside our door didn't work. Glad it was only one night. At least the bed was clean and comfy.
Went through 2 rooms before we found the third to be acceptable enough to sleep in.
Cleanliness was awful. Garbage on the floors, dirty mirrors, dust covered vents, holes in walls, damaged fixtures, etc.
No breakfast or coffee. Many permanent residents up and wandering all hours of the night.
Only allowed 1 set of towels for 4 people for a 3 night stay. When we asked for more they said they didn’t have enough.
The staff was friendly and did their best to help us find a room that was suitable to sleep in.
The staff was fine for check-in and check-out. The property is all over disheveled. Parking lot is in terrible shape, junk around the fencing. There is this strange thick 'carpet/astro turf' on every wallway. Ripples throughout, big tripping hazard.
Then there is the room. The only good things i can say is that the linens were clean and there was plenty of hot water. The room was old. Fabric chairs with stains. They gave me a room with a large jacuzzi tub, of course it was dirty and didn’t work. There was stuff on the walls in the bathroom. Fixtures have rust and every surface just felt gross.
When I booked the Roadway Inn, I for sure wasn’t expecting luxury, but I also was not expecting the horror show received. As a band on tour for the weekend, we needed an inexpensive place to stay to rest for the night before moving on to our next location. I can assure you, we got very little rest given the terrifying condition the room was in (Room 224). On the ceiling there was a red/brown stain that I hope to god was mold, but looked more like the remains following a gunshot wound, especially considering the flesh-colored flakes that littered the entirety of the wall. We did not even dare step foot in the shower given the large deposits of mold. Our expectations for this stay were already very low, but this was an absolute nightmare. Hygienically, I was concerned for our safety after this stay and recommend that everyone stay far, far away from this motel.
I regret choosing this hotel. Some friends (4 of us) were in town for a convention and we wanted to stay the night to see more of the town the next day, so we booked a double queen here through expedia a few days before coming.
Upon arrival, the parking lot was empty save for three cars, but when checking in the employee said they had no more double queen rooms so they had to give us a single king. I should have turned around. When we got to the room I immediately noticed an old stale smoker air smell and crusty food stains on the pillow. I pulled up the sheets and chair cushions and there was mold and stains galore. Dirt and dust on nearly every surface, cobwebs in the ceiling and closet corners, some outlets didnt work, but wow the room had a hottub right? Eyeroll. I took photos and video and told my friends we're immediately checking out. Didnt even stay the single night we booked.
Wed rather cut our vacation short and drive two hours home at midnight than stay in that dump. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
The price was cheap for a Saturday night stay & close to downtown attractions (~ a 5 minute drive.) Interaction with staff was brief but friendly. Check in /check out was quick - no problems. The faded, front hotel sign read "NOW OPEN", which made me initially think that the hotel may have had some renovations. Overall, the hotel is old, dirty, and in need of many, many updates / renovations. The lady who checked us in told us our room overlooked the pool, I was briefly excited. It did, but the pool was empty w/ stagnant water puddled at the deep end. As an employee, I don't think I would have led with that but would've rather let guests know that the pool was closed or under repair. There was a presence of couple of questionable people on the grounds that always seemed to be hanging outside. I wasn't sure if they were guests, employees, or homeless. As a result, I would not walk around alone. The room was also old and dirty. I spent the first couple minutes cleaning all the high touch areas b/c these areas felt sticky & looked dirty. The bed was comfortable and appeared to be the cleanest part of the room; however, the fitted sheet may have been dirty or stained, not really sure, so we slept over the flat sheet. The hotel was quiet at night, & surprisingly, we slept well. I feel this is an example of you get what you pay for. If you don't mind overlooking these realities for a cheap night away from home, then go for it. As for us, we will not be returning on our next visit.
Room was filthy. Sheets had blood on them. Bathroom looked like not cleaned in a very long time. The only thing good was how nice the girl at the front desk was. She handled the situation very professionally.
