Where to begin! Immediately upon arriving we were greeted by the hotel owners at the door! They were welcoming and helped us with our bags to our rooms. The rooms were clean, big and comfortable. The common area and the patio were my husbands and I, favorite places in the hotel! The patio area is surrounded by glass where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the heart of the sacred valley and have your (free) breakfast every morning. We would definitely come back and we recommend this to...

The staff were very helpful and the rooms are nicely done. The hotel is around 15 minutes away from Urubamba. At the same time, It was relaxing and will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip.

Royer was great! He got us to the train station and made sure we saw the town before we boarded for Machu Pic

The hotel is amazing! New, clean, best bedding and mattresses, warm rooms, courtyard, restaurant on the site and the most important absolutely incredible staff. We were pumped there and felt like royalty. Grimaldi - the hotel manager organized us a private driver and transport to Cusco. The hotel has oxygen on a site. It was very convenient to stay in the middle of the valley and cover all premises

The wonderful Lida and her aunt Vilma own this lodging. They are both very sweet and contributed to the good vibe of the place. Lida speaks perfect English and can help you arrange a medicine ceremony with a local contact of hers if you wish. I really liked that this place was just out of town, along the river, and very peaceful. It’s only a short walk into town; a short walk in the other direction is the start of the Incan Trail to the amazing archaeological site Puma Marca. My room on the...

Great place and vantage point to see and tour the Sacred Valley!!

great

Such a nice oasis in the Sacred Valley! The whole hotel is beautiful and the staff are wonderful (especially Victor at the front desk). They arranged taxi rides for us to the train station for our adventure to Machu Picchu and to Cusco. The rooms are super comfortable, the menu of food is absolutely delicious and the grounds are gorgeous!

Gracias

The service, the food, and concierge service is amazing. The property itself is beautiful. The staff is great. Bruno is an amazing host. They really take care of you and want you to have a great experience. I booked several activities with their concierge service after coming from Machu Picchu. They accommodated some last minute requests and I am so happy that I used their concierge service instead of looking elsewhere to explore the Sacred Valley. They have the best communication and I...

The original building was built several hundred years ago as a monastery. It was converted to a hotel several years ago and Sonesta has added several more building for rooms, but, has preserved the look of the old monastery. The grounds are gorgeous with flowers and trees in abundance. The restaurant was good with hearty meals and friendly service. It was a very pleasant place to come back to after a day of touring and just sit back and relax.

Hotel Lizzy Wasi sits behind a nondescript wall in a skinny alleyway in Urubamba, but once you walk through the door, a whole new world opens up. Gorgeous gardens and the smell of fragrant jasmine await you. Run by US expat Lizzy, Hotel Lizzy Wasi was the perfect place for our family. Our stay here was a last-minute decision because of a flight delay, and we couldn't have been more pleased. We arrived at 9:30 at night from Cusco, our nerves frazzled from a miserable 24 hours of travel delays...

One of the most idyllic and peaceful retreats I’ve visited in traveling to 50 countries. You will not regret your stay. On site restaurant has great food. Breakfast included is full breakfast with many options including made to order omelettes.

Our stay was unbelievable. The room was beautiful, the private jacuzzi was amazing and the service was impeccable. Michael went above and beyond to make our stay special. He's a fabulous cook, had great suggestions about excursions and taught a private Peruvian style cooking experience for us. The grounds are gorgeous, covered in flowers and grass. What we found wonderful was the seclusion of the resort which might not be for everyone if they want to be close to the action. Marco, who provides...

My girlfriend and I were breath-taken at this beautiful place, the architecture and hospitality was amazing. The front desk and staff are the sweetest and always there to help you in any need. What shocked me the most was the chef! We’ve tried every single dinner dish and all i can say is WOW! We loved every night staying here. Very peaceful and relaxing, this is a highly RECOMMENDED location. Thank you!

Del Pilar... AMAZING property surrounded by mountains (some snow-capped)! Although this hotel is about 15-20 minutes outside of Ollantaytambo, it's definitely worth staying outside of town with the great restaurant, super-friendly staff and beautiful, clean rooms. I would highly suggest staying in the 2-bedroom condos, which are really awesome!

The staff and owner are absolutely wonderful. They were so accommodating to us in whatever way we needed. This property is worth every penny. The food was incredible. The spa treatments were amazing. Highly recommend!

I stayed one day/night at this hotel, and the experience was fantastic. This is not a luxury hotel, but the views, gardens, and food were excellent! The staff at the restaurant were kind, friendly, and respectful.
