"The property was clean and not crowded. The food was excellent. We stayed there not for two nights prior to our cruise, so we didn’t have opportunity to explore too much. However, we do not think upgrading to the Sun Ckub was worth, compared to similar upgrade at one of Hyatt’s resorts in Mayan Riviera."

"The Punta cana airport is one hour away from La Romana. We took a cruise out of La Romana . The Hilton Garden Inn La Romana is beautiful but the staff is extremely slow. The buffet breakfast is just so-so. Food and drinks are expensive if you aren’t doing the all-inclusive."

"Shower head did not work told front desk did nothing. Men’s bathrooms smelled dirty door not off for two days thrn put one that didn’t fit right coffee stains up the stairs they clean once a day . Told all inclusive them get there charge for towels for pool and beach .alcohol was bottom tier junk . When ask to buy better packages said no but a bottle full price like back home shots and bottle beer us prices high food disgusting very small entertainment. My wife was getting a massage a guy came up twice to the booth talking to the lady while my was laying there top less . If you want to buy top tier you have to go to front desk pay then go back to the bar every time. No one speaks good English Al all !!!! The sushi restaurant no good and it’s American prices . The other 2 restaurants horrible 80 percent of the people eat with us went to the buffet to eat because how bad and little amount of foods ask for manager multiple times never got one till I lost it with th watching my wife get a massage ! The only good thing about the place is the pools and the view. And don’t put food down in your room bugs on it in seconds . Also they go threw your stuff I put tape on top of the closet doors where are stuff was when can back in the room it was off both sides "

"Beautiful property, good food, very clean pools and the beach. Service overall was very good except one guy by the name Hery who unfortunately was assigned to work one day at the guest service and was ignorant towards our simple request to help us to get a pair of new beach towels. "

"I would go back to this hotel many times over. Above and beyond customer service in every capacity. The staff were so friendly! The hotel was laid out very well with many photo opts . The beaches were pristine and very safe. The entertainment was fantastic. This place was quiet and not too busy good for a quieter individual. Lovely. Lovely!!!"
