"We were exhausted from a long drive. The hotel was clean and quiet. Checking in was a breeze and they had plenty of luggage carriers to offload our vehicle. Breakfast was great and coffee machine fresh ground beans before brewing. First one I've seen. All in all, wonderful oasis for weary travelers."

"Had an unexpected stop in Staunton, VA due to tire problems… booked the Blackburn Inn last minute to stay over and get van new tires. Pulled up and thought we were at wrong place. A beautiful historic colonial building looked like a college campus but was the Blackburn Inn. I researched and found out it used to be a hospital built in 1800’s. Very clean, well maintained and restored. The front desk allowed me to keep my room till noon on checkout while waiting for van repair. Only disappointment was the on site bar/ grill is seasonal and we had to go elsewhere for bite to eat. Excellent find… thanks Expedia and Blackburn Inn"

"We enjoyed our stay at Valley Extended Suites. Our check-in was efficient and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient to Skyline Drive, the Blue Ridge Parkway, grocery and dining options. Our only nitpick was that our suite had only the barest of necessities. The kitchen area and the bathroom could have been better equipped."
