Mercure Nancy Centre Place Stanislas Hotel

"Nice hotel / nice rooms / good staff and the rooms were very nice and clean. Hotel is very close to the centre and within 5 minutes walking distance. Woudl recommend staying here as good value for money and very close to the centre of the city. My only comment is that the impression from the first picture on their site is off the central swaure and coud make you think the hotel is actually in the square but the building itself is a little way off in a back street. Not a complaint just an observation."

"The family room had 2 double beds and one of them was a sofa bed with a not very good mattress. My husband shared this with our eldest son and had a terrible nights sleep. The other bed which I shared with my other younger son was really comfortable. An option for single beds for the kids would have been preferred. Apart from this the room was good value for money, the staff were really helpful and we had a lovely stay."

"While the staff and hotel facilities were excellent, the biggest disappointment was the huge number of flies allowed to congregate over the breakfast items. Literally everything was covered in them. There was no interest from staff to manage the situation. We ate the granola that was stored in jars, but that was it."

"I stayed here as a stopover while driving down to Italy and it was perfect for this: simple, unpretentious, with a utilitarian room but with a big bed and a good shower. The only glitch for me was that Hotels.com didn't send me the login code and it took me a long time to find it - eventually it popped up when i tried to cancel."
