"Starting with the less than preferred accomodations:
No freezer in the mini fridge (necessary for freezing next day's ice packs for our cooler), no creamer for coffee (half and half only, which hubby says is the same thing, but it's NOT. LOL), and the AC didn't cool the room to the setting (70 degrees F) until it was time to wake up (6am). BUT it was running cool when we entered the room, and it ran cool, well, and noiselessly all night long - an overall plus. Also, it's August and our room was on the 3rd floor. Daughter said she was cold- sleeping in the bed closest to the AC unit.
The parts we loved:
Comfy beds, clean/updated rooms/facility, nice staff, plentiful free parking, beautiful courtyard with firepit/seating, balconies with chairs for (each of?) the rooms, nice showerheads with optional water spray settings, complimentary breakfast mini muffins (unexpected), a large beautiful lobby, elevators, a closet large enough for kids to change in (teen favorite) and (mom's favorite) a sink outside the shower/toilet room. Driving through the city from out of state, we were concerned about what to expect from the metropolitan location, but the hotel was in a cute suburban neighborhood that was very safe-feeling and well lighted."
