โWe did not actually stay at the property because of safety concerns. The front door to the building (after walking around the broken, missing sidewalk, trash, and construction dirt) was not locked. Across from the front door was an abandoned building with broken windows and men loitering. Although the apartment itself is renovated, the instructions for the hot water, which involve waiting an hour for the boiler to make hot water and then running water for several minutes to wash or bathe was...
โGreat location. Near one of the synagogues. Walking distance from all important spots yet in a quieter area. Staff was great. Bumped into the owner of the hotel who was exceptionally friendly and kind with a unique life story. Made our stay memorable. Definitely will recon and to family and friends!!!โ
โUnfortunately it was a terrible stay.
It took 5 phone calls to get into the apartment. We were not sent any instructions.
The building is a work site with builders sawing and hammering at 11.00pm.
The building is full of smoke, despite there being signs on the wall saying it is a smoke free venue.
The pillows, towels and bedding stinks of cigarette smoke. We both woke up sick with headaches as the smoke came under the door at night.
My sleep apnea machine is now ruined as it is now...
