Most charming and perfect hotel

This is one of the most wonderful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s so charming! The restaurant is amazing. The service in both the hotel and the restaurant is way above expectations. Our room was perfect and overlooked the river. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great stay

We enjoyed 5 nights at this hotel. The owner is very friendly. We had a quiet and comfortable stay. The kids loved the pool. The room was very nice, and we had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. We would definitely come again😊

Well maintained and friendly property. We loved the mezzanine level room and the pool. There were four of us, two adults and two older children. There didn’t appear to be much to do within walking distance of the property but we had a car to visit where we wanted to go so this didn’t bother us. We did find two other restaurants within walking distance, they were popular though so make sure you make a reservation. The breakfast was delicious as were the meal in the restaurant; the best meal my son had this holiday, he said. The property has been updated since the photos I saw on Expedia when booking. We loved the pool. Perfect to relax around and take a dip to cool off.

Charming and quiet. We loved the pool and our room. The room we had still had some finishing touches to be completed but overall it was clean and well-maintained. Loved the “white noise” effect coming from the little waterfall outside. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant twice and all the food we tried is excellent. It is also very convenient to have dinner there in case you don’t want to go out of the hotel.

We stayed in a family unit that wasn’t quite finished yet but we had the option to move. We decided not to. The boys loved it. It was a very nice room and will be fantastic when it is completed. Breakfast was great and the pool is really nice.

No elevator so hauling bags to the third floor can be a problem for some. Room, staff, pool area, breakfast room were a delight. On site restaurant not used but looked great.

Very cute hotel

The hotel was very cute and in a very quiet location. The only issue I had was that no food was allowed up to the room. My wife was ill and I attempted to order some food from the restaurant downstairs. They would not allow me to bring it up to her. She couldn’t leave the hotel in her state so she ended up not eating that night.

I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. With two adults and two teenagers, things can get a bit cramped and when we arrived, the gentleman who received us, upon seeing how big our kids are and how difficult it might be for them to comfortably sleep in the loft of the room we'd reserved, offered us at no extra charge a much bigger room with two bedrooms and a lovely balcony overlooking the Rio Lis. I was excited to see whether this hotel lived up to the charming photos online, and I can say with no hesitation it met and far exceeded my already high hopes. Of all the places we stayed in Lisbon and Porto throughout our trip, we all agreed this hotel (and its gorgeous restaurant below) were our favorite.
