The space was very clean and well appointed. Only thing I saw that was missing was a drinking glass. Bed was comfortable and room was easy to access. If we are every again in Leitchfield we will stay again. Jackie
Very nice room. Loved that it had a shower. Do not like stepping up into a tub. Large room and bathroom. Only one chair in the room. Another would have been great. Easy parking in the back.
The location was very clean and comfortable and staff was friendly. My only dislike was the bed was quite firm but thats just a personal preference. I'd overall recommend.
We went to a beach boys concert about 30 minutes away.. if we should ever go to another at same location we will stay here!! It was so clean and comfortable!! Highly recommend!!
Homestay on Main is a unique place to stay. It was very clean, quiet, and modern, but not aesthetically warm.
You can come and go without seeing anyone, so we felt a bit like intruders because people actually live there.
The "breakfast" was very poor with only two overripe bananas, yogurt and 2 cold cereal choices available. There was no breakfast juice (we don't drink coffee), no bread, no bagels or muffins, no warm entrée.
The upper double hung windows in the bathroom were clear glass with no curtains or shades, so we felt somewhat exposed.
Homestay may be just what some people want, but it was not a good choice for us.

Nice people not very quality in the furniture and easy to check in.
Nice spacious clean only dislikes shower leaked out on floor code did not come thru for lock luckily the owner was there he was very nice. Everything was updated bed was comfy
We had trouble finding someone to check in to get codes. The place was clean but beds were very hard and not comfortable. We never saw anyone after check in . We could not find anyone to check us out so we just got our stuff and left.we stayed two nights .
I loved the idea of this - a local business supporting their own 4-room bnb. Sadly, this is far from a desirable stay.
The good: They use a guest portal that has all the needed info and check in instructions.
The bad: They never sent the check-in instructions and scrambled when I arrived to text them or me or have me take a photo of the attendant’s phone.
The good: While the bed was a firm memory foam mattress, it was comfortable and I slept great.
The bad: Much of the house has been quick & dirty house flip style renovated. Not horrible, but don’t expect even close to typical bnb level conditions. Smoke detectors beeped at various times due to low battery during my three night stay. A bag of trash sat in the hall for nearly 24 hours. The common areas were cluttered. The media room had candy wrappers and used blanket strewn about from the time I arrived until the time I left.
I would not stay here again even considering the limited options available in the area.
I loved my stay in the Salted Carmel room. The shower was amazing. I was disappointed there was only decaf coffee provided on the kitchen. It was also a little unclear because it said breakfast provided, but I saw two types of serial, a brown banana, and a yogurt. It would be helpful to see expectations there. However, the room and overall building was amazing. I would have loved to have had some comfy out door furniture on the front porch for relaxing and enjoying coffee. I hope you’ll take the opportunity to go to try near level and utilize the front porch area.
Strange set up we thought. Felt weird with the hosts living there …. Maybe not weird to some who have gone this route before .. where we had access to breakfast area and drinks .. told to just get out of the hosts fridge. Host mail on counter host cooked and left macaroni on stove and pizza box out on table within our sight bc we were allowed to use the area. Dusty on stairs And a used bandaid stayed on the step our entire stay Bed was comfy Traffic in am was loud but we chose the room. Maybe bring a sound box w you
It was quiet. No loud heater or air conditioner. Very pleasant, relaxing. Two things would have made it perfect, small refrigerator, and printed hours to the Creamery Restraunt. I'm 71 and usually have a ton of issues, like bed being to high, a chair I can't sit in, because I can't get out of it, or it will hurt my back. Zilch here. The stairs were the only conceivable problem and even they were in short sections. Since I'm old I tend to stay in my room, so refridge would have made it perfect and ordering food and having it delivered.
